Where do I start? Automated answer didn't recognise the delivery address. Then didn't recognise the post code. Then didn't recognise delivery or pick up. I was switched to a real perso who, judging by the accent, didn't reside in the country and understood less than the automated response. Tried ordering through her and asked for smaller sizes than large pizza as there is only two of us and both elderly and we like different toppings.Told I could get two mediums for $44.95. I said but I could order 2 large with sides for $34.95. We don't want sides. We'll if you want those toppings that's what you'll have to pay. I said but we will be paying for stuff that will go in the bin. Long story short, after I asked for specific toppings to be removed and no drizzle , we finally decided to pay $10 extra ,than 2 large pizzas with 2xextras for 2x mediums with no extras. After removing the things I asked not to have on one of the pizzas , I concede it was ,as was the 2nd pizza , quite nice. But still have a total of 6 slices we didn't eat. Two stars is actually more than I would warrant for the 15 minutes on the phone and the price and the stated unwanted, but delivered items in the pizza. I'm a former owner of a Cafe that operated for 18 years quite successfully through Covid , the GFC and an enforced move from my original premise. I survived by listening to customers needs and understanding their wants and needs as opposed to giving generic answers. We will be sticking to DOMINOS in future. Their pizzas aren't perfect but at least...
Read moreExtremely unprofessional service/experience with the Currimundi Store.
Ordered pizzas to be delivered to an address and advised the lady on the phone that I would like the driver call my mobile upon arrival, so I could meet him/her to collect the pizzas. The lady agree that this would be ok to do.
After waiting 10 mins over the nominated delivery time, I rang the store again enquiring the location of the driver/pizza. I was told by the same lady, that the driver had been out front waiting for 10 mins already. Upon seeing the driver, I was advised that he was not instructed to call me or was given my mobile number to do so.
I then went to pay by credit card and was told by the driver that he would accept cash only. Apparently I should have/needed to advise Pizza Hut how I wish to pay when I made the phone order. As a customer, how was I to know this? Should this not be asked by the store employee/employer?
Long story short - we had to gather the cash to pay the driver and finally get our pizzas.
I have given feedback to Pizza Hut and months later, have heard nothing from the Currimundi Store.
Will not recommend this store, when there are so many businesses that put their customers and their service standards at...
Read moreI have never received a good Pizza from this place, three times I've ordered from this store and everytime my pizza is practically inedible. The strange thing is my friend has received great pizzas from here and we ordered together, the only difference between our pizzas is that I have different taste buds and hate pineapple on pizza so I've asked to have it taken off, which resulted in the worst pizza I've ever eaten (worse than dominoes and that's saying something) I could only eat 2 slices, the base was beyond soggy and the toppings were put on ridiculously as if it was suppose to be a joke, I could only eat it with a knife and fork it was that bad. Yet my friends pizza was done perfectly. The other time my pizza was beyond disgusting was when, I was struggling to make an order on my phone so I tried calling but I don't think this store wants you to call them, they don't want you to take anything off the pizzas and if you do you will get the most disgusting pizza, with either a disgusting amount of their gross smokey bbq sauce or cheese and a soggy base. I've wasted enough money here 🤮...
