I recently had the most bizarre and uncomfortable experience at Red Rooster, and I feel compelled to share it. I went in for a simple takeaway order—just a roast chicken, something I’ve ordered many times before. Little did I know, this would be a visit I won’t soon forget, but for all the wrong reasons.
Upon arriving, I was greeted by an employee named Blake. At first, he seemed like an ordinary staff member, but then things quickly took a very unsettling turn. I watched in disbelief as Blake repeatedly humped my roast chicken, and I’m not talking about just a quick, awkward motion. No, he did it three times, and each time it seemed to intensify—his movements growing more forceful and erratic with every "hump." It was as though he was gaining more power with each attempt, which made the whole situation feel incredibly weird and uncomfortable.
I honestly didn’t know how to react. I stood there in shock, trying to figure out what was happening. Blake seemed oblivious to how disturbing his actions were, or perhaps he was simply acting out of some strange impulse, but either way, I was left speechless. It was clear that this wasn’t just an unfortunate accident—it felt intentional, and the growing power behind each of his actions only added to the discomfort.
When Blake finally handed me my roast chicken, I couldn’t bring myself to accept it. It had been violated in a way that I could never unsee, and I didn’t feel safe taking something that had been handled so inappropriately. I ended up walking out, leaving the store without my order.
I’m absolutely appalled by what I witnessed, and I will never be returning to this Red Rooster again. I’m still in disbelief over what happened, and I sincerely hope that Blake receives the training he clearly needs. A completely bizarre and unsettling experience that has forever tainted my view...
Read moreLet me start by saying the food at this Red Rooster was actually pretty good. The chips were crispy, the chicken was juicy, and the garlic bread was on point. But unfortunately, the meal was overshadowed by what can only be described as one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen in a fast-food restaurant.
There was this one employee, I believe his name was Blake? who was working near the register. At first, he was just acting a little weird, flirting with the girls at the counter in a way that made them visibly uncomfortable. He kept winking, licking his lips, and adjusting himself in ways that should never happen in a place that serves food.
But things took a turn for the absolute worst when he was handling a roast chicken for a customer. Right before my eyes, this man started humping the chicken. Not once. Not twice. But three separate times. And each time, he seemed to be gaining some sort of unholy energy, muttering “Almost done” in the most unsettling, shaky voice.
By the third time, he was practically vibrating with intensity. The final act? He straightened up, let out a deep breath, and casually placed the chicken into a box like nothing had happened. The poor customer who received it looked like they had just witnessed a crime scene.
And honestly, so had I.
Now, despite all this, I have to admit that the food was good. That’s the only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one. But let’s be real—no matter how tasty the meal was, I can’t erase the mental image of what I saw that day. I don’t know what kind of dark rituals are happening in that kitchen, but I do know one thing: I won’t be coming back.
I even have photos of said chicken that he touched with no remorse, although very scrumptious, it was...
Read moreI recently visited Red Rooster in Currimundi, and while the food was as great as always, the experience took an unexpected turn. While I was waiting for my meal, I witnessed one of the employees behind the counter engaging in some strange behavior—humping a roast chicken. It started off casually but became progressively more intense with each motion. After the third "hump," the employee triumphantly said, "Hell yea" and placed the chicken in a bag.
At this point, I was in complete shock, but what really made it memorable was the reaction of the customer who received that very chicken. His face turned pale, as white as a ghost, and it looked like he had just seen something he deeply wished he hadn’t. The shock was so palpable that it felt like he would never be able to unsee what had just unfolded before him.
Despite the bizarre scene, the food was still top-notch. The roast chicken was tender, juicy, and delicious, with the sides living up to Red Rooster’s usual standards. It’s just that, after witnessing what I did, the experience felt a little… off.
I still plan to return for the food, but I’d definitely keep my eyes peeled for any unusual activity behind the counter. The food is great, but that strange display made it a visit I won’t soon forget. If anything, I think that customer might need a few moments to process what...
