i’m not one to leave reviews or complain but wow. yesterday i ordered a toasted meatball melt sub at this store from ubereats at 10am. when it arrived, it was not toasted. unfortunately i still went ahead to eat it and found burnt meatballs inside. i mean black to the core. even the meatballs that weren’t burnt tasted old. you’d expect it to be fresh in the morning, correct? nope. dog food would taste better than what i bit into. this store has been bad for YEARS. they NEVER toast the bread with my online orders, my family has had the same experience. funny thing is, i was skeptical of ordering from here as i hadn’t since my last bad experience, which was 3 years ago. i ordered toasted bread with avocado and it was brown. it was inedible and disgusting oh and surprise surprise, not toasted! why does the staff here always give online orders the oldest, least fresh ingredients? i genuinely could have sworn they fished an avocado out of the bin that was sitting there overnight. at this point they try to give their online orders the worst of the worst because we can’t say anything to their faces. it’s probably a running joke here because you hire the worst staff possible and do nothing to change it. it’s appalling how bad the food is and how long they’re allowed to get away with this. that avocado “toastie” i was given surely violated some sort of health code? never ordering from this...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if I could. am absolutely disgusted in the Currimundi store. The last 3 times I have ordered from there, there has been an issue. I always order online and the food is NEVER ready for pick up at the allocated time. They make you join the cue and give them your order over again. What is the point of ordering online? Last night was the last straw when I ordered my kids subs after sport, was given a 20 minute pick up time and then only to be told that they have run out of bread. When I asked how long ago they ran out, she said just now. The man in line before me, got the last of it. I am furious that our subs were not made when we ordered online 20 minutes beforehand as there wouldn't have been any issue. Also, the store still had 1.5 hours of trading left at that stage. I think they need a new manager. The store issued a refund which has still not gone back into my account but the snotty attitude from the teenage staff member was free. The customer service at this store has always been atrocious, but add to that the overpriced food, dirty store and complete inconvenience, it's just plain unacceptable and frustrating. Read moreVery slow service, it was a lunch rush and like 10 customers were in the restaurant. I've been in other subways with more people ordering and less of a wait time than this one. There were 4 people at the front, however the pace felt like only 1 person was working. One guy moved like a sloth, presumed he was new but still should've moved a little bit faster. The same guy did what I presumed was an online order with a single footlong sub for a good 10 mins. One chick had many (4 in total) piercings on her face, pretty sure that's against Subway's policy. She served me and I asked for a sauce on my sub and there was none of it left in the bottle, however she still kept squeezing it. I politely asked for more thinking she'd grab a new one from the back, but she just kept trying to squeeze it, not bothering to grab some more.
