Singh's Curry House — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

Arrived for late lunch, online said opening was 3.00, doors locked after 3.30, man inside had broken English (imagine he was the cook). We asked twice and were told they were licenced, they are not. We bought wine and returned, wine glasses were given but were quite dirty. We were given water but no menu, when we asked for the menu we were given one to share. The Onion Bhaji was very nice. Lamb sheek - 3 were fine if a Little dry, one was hard, wrinkled and extremely dry, presumably yesterday's that had been reheated. A young women came in and out of the restaurant and kitchen, not sure who she was, not a customer, she certainly never made herself known to us and stayed attached to her phone. Young(ish) man arrived a little later and also went into the kitchen. He only spoke to us when I asked for the bill. The whole experience was disappointing - there was absolutely no customer service plus dirty glassware. We had two entrees but decided against main courses as the whole experience left us feeling...

We've just finished our take away & all I can say is, terrible doesn't even begin to describe the quality of the food we've just had. We ordered 2 mild Butter Chickens & what we got was a tasteless soupy mess, 1 container with maybe 4 or 5 pieces of chicken that looked more like offcuts than diced chicken.

The food was so tasteless that even adding salt didn't help, we ordered mild & what we received was something that had way too much chilli in the meal to be mild.

The Naan bread wasn't any better, tasteless & chewy.

This place used to be a lot better, now it seems like the owners just don't care anymore. Anyway, well be taking our business elsewhere from now on, disgusting doesn't...

Thought we’d have a change from Bombay Bliss and Curry Bowl, which are 5-6km away, and try nearer to home. What a mistake. This was the worst bought curry I have ever had. We had chicken tikka masala and Aloo Saag. There was very little chicken which was disappointing, but even the Aloo Saag had few potato pieces, as if potatoes cost a lot! The sauce was tasty but as I cook tikka masala from scratch, the glop we received was far was far from authentic. That might explain why there was only one dine in patron.
