I have ordered Thai from here twice. The first time it was SENSATIONAL. I was so impressed that there were dietary diet options on the food delivery all through this restaurant. I ordered a yellow chicken curry and it deserved 5 stars, however; the second time I ordered, despite putting in garlic and onion allergies, my curry had onion in it. I realised this too late because I thought it was bamboo, but when I became ill the next day, I examined the leftovers and there was onion. Not a little bit either - a LOT. I’m disappointed to be giving a 3 star rating because the food is utterly delicious. But the allergy notes are there for a reason and trust is a given when it’s even an option (I am new to this area so finding a Thai restaurant who accommodates dietary requirements is gold. Add to that delicious food and it’s a real win.) obviously it’s impossible to totally eradicate certain ingredients and the contamination risk is for the customer. However, there’s a difference between slight traces and full on chunks. If you can’t adhere to something you’ve offered then don’t offer it. For food allergy sufferers it can be very extreme. I would really love to order from this place again and mistakes happen, but I’m worried about the risk of being ill for 3 days. Visited again last week on a Friday just after 7 PM walked by and it was packed an half hour early, had a quick bevvy across the street at Black Flag returned was greeted, seated and enjoyed more yummy Thai food. Can't beat this place for taste, service and value. Back again 25/9/23 Have to try the Chef's special fish in Tamarind sauce with vegetables.
