The Coffee Club — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

Arrived with a table of six plus one child. All meals came out separately and not together, and we had to ask where the last two meals were. We had ordered bacon and eggs on toast for one of the meals, and only eggs and toast were brought out. When taken back, we were told that we had not ordered that and the same meal was brought back and were told bacon wouldn’t be far away. The bacon came out ten seconds later and I don’t even think it was on the pan to cook for ten seconds! When the first meals were bought out, the server couldn’t even tell us which meal was what and when questioned which meals they were, we were met with attitude and told the first meal that was ordered. The pancakes and croissant were very dry. Won’t be back any time soon. Would have been a much better experience if the server didn’t have attitude and understood...

NOT IMPRESSED! As a vegetarian of more than fifty years I asked for a vegetarian version of the chicken focaccia... there were no vegetarian options in the display cabinet. Most food outlets cater to dietary requirements.

Chicken Focaccia was $8.50 ( Most food outlets charge slightly less for a no meat version...let's face it...meat is expensive.)

The manageress said I would have to pay $10.50 for a vegetarian focaccia since it would be a "Special order" For God's sake!!! It's a cafe!!! I think this is outrageous! How much would she charge for other special dietary requirements? Many people have food allergies and intolerances as well. Why should we pay more?

We went next door to Cenzo's where there was a fabulous selection of ready made dishes ...much cheaper too! NEVER AGAIN Coffee Club...

Worst dining experience ever! Yes they were busy being a Public Holiday but that is no excuse for total chaos and having the audacity to change a public holiday surcharge! My friend had been waiting 20 minutes for a coffee before I arrived, so we then ordered our food and my drink. My food arrived cold and not cooked correctly had to send back half my meal (obviously a mistake meal that was shoved out as soon as a docket came thru!) Then 10 minutes later my friend's coffee finally arrived after a 45 minute wait! Then another 10 minutes and they bought her an incorrect meal, then another 15 minute wait for them to bring the correct meal. Then after another 10 minute my drink arrived.hed. Never going back!
