The diversity of the landscape at this spot is quite amazing. A plot of land that was once separated by water but now accessible by walking. The different type of rock surrounding it is amazing too. As you come up to it the sand changes too from soft silicon type sand to crushed shell sand. This island is perched on a corner where on one side you have waves and the other is flat which is extremely popular with kite surfers and stand up paddle boarders. It gets super busy down here, the car park is nowhere near big enough. Plenty of picnic and bbq areas and nice spots to swim on both sides. This spot is on blibli side looking back at cotton tree / maroochydore across the water. Also the airport is close so the odd plane comes thru here quite low...
