The food offered excellent value, and the specials on the menu were truly fantastic. The serving sizes were generous, and each dish tasted absolutely delicious.

Not only was the food great, but the drinks were also reasonably priced, especially considering the prime location of the hotel. It was refreshing to find a place that didn't break the bank when it came to enjoying a nice beverage.

The staff at the Agincourt Hotel were friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. In particular, I would like to commend Julian for his outstanding manners and helpfulness. He went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was enjoyable, and his friendly demeanor added an extra touch of hospitality.

Overall, I highly recommend the Agincourt Hotel for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The combination of excellent value for food, delicious specials, reasonable drink prices, and friendly staff, particularly Julian, make it a truly memorable place to visit.

This place used to great; clean, fast service and loveliest staff. However, I drastically changed my opinion recently. Me and my friend visited the venue to attend an event downstairs (Valve) which was also their last. We arrived around 10 pm, had one drink downstairs and went outside for a smoke. While we were standing outside, we noticed an unconscious person laying on the ground nearby. After a few attempts to communicate with the person, we asked Agincourt Hotel security for help which told us that is it not their problem and they do not care since it was not directly at the venue. After securing the person in need of first aid and ensuring she is safe, we were about to return to the bar; however, the security did not let us back in as "my friend showed signs of intoxication". Sure, got totally wasted during 1.5 hours of providing medical help to your customers outside! However, an extra * is for the manager who was previously notified about the situation (after security) and provided slight support. Been here a number of times - first few times I ate downstairs in the main bar area, and it was fine. I then discovered the dining room upstairs - nice and quiet and smoke free (downstairs smoke can drift in). Costs the same eating upstairs or downstairs. Chairs upstairs are pretty ordinary plastic things but fine to sit in. The food is really good pub food - best dishes are the burgers (if you're hungry - they're big) and the fish (they do a really good salmon the last two times I've been there, and the calamari was good as well). Had mates try the steaks and were not impressed - bit tough, so maybe stay away from that. Chips nice and crispy though. Serve Coopers on tap. Prices are good. What more...
