Angry BBQ — Restaurant in Sydney

I’ve been to the Haymarket location before, so just wanted to check out this one next!

I have to say I do like the skewers, there’s a lot of different varieties you can get (chicken thigh skewer and lamb are probably two of my favorites).

They also have non-skewered items as well which is a great way to help bulk up the meal. I like their chives, the crawfish cup special (crawfish are great and juicy, noodles are ok, I would say more spicy than flavourful).

Also love that they’re open almost everyday until very late. The staff are very friendly and a great help. The only thing I wish I could change would be the portion sizes on the skewers. While I could believe that they’re made that way to be snack sized, I would love just a...

The food itself tasted quite nice, the main problem is the portion size. It is not like any of the photos shown by other reviewers. I'm guessing they are employees or friends of the owners.

We spent well over $50 and ended up with maybe 80g of meat.

It would have been funny if it was a joke, and after the initial shock they revealed the real food, but that didn't happen.

When the food came we were literally stunned, then we exploded with laughter, then we felt angry.

Honestly, if you want a meal for 1 person expect to spend at least $150.
