A quiet little hole-in-the-wall cafe located about 5min walk from Kings Cross station. Only outdoor seating available and contactless mobile ordering. They specialise in bagels of all sorts from sweet to savoury and present each dish with such care and effort. I love the little shovels, antique spoons as well as wooden, metal and ceramic details.

I love their variety of cream cheeses available on offer and a favourites would have to be blueberry and cream cheese. However, the espresso one was less enjoyable as it was rather bitter and oddly enough, the espresso wasn't very strong either. The smoked salmon bagel was tasty, however, in my books, Lox in a Box still takes the win! And surprisingly, the smoked salmon bagel here is spicier than it looks. Next, we also ordered their Honeycomb bagel which had A LOT of cream cheese that paired very well with honey.

For drinks, the einspanner coffee was rather small and although the sweetness of the cream on top was delicious, make sure to mix, otherwise, the rest of the drink becomes very bitter. On the other hand, the Dirty Cream coffee was much better and had more sweetness as well with larger portion.

Overall, the food and drinks are quite expensive. However, the cream cheeses are unique and have generous portions. I would come again, but next time, I would order just a cream cheese flavour with bagel which would be under or around $10 depending on which bagel and cream cheese. Nonetheless, still a cute cafe with tasty food and...

Fantastic hole-in-the-wall bagel cafe! Bagels are fresh and the flavours deliciously balanced. Presentation was also lovely, and had a rustic edge. The service was friendly. And although the interior is small, the outdoor street-side seating was pleasant on a clear day. PLUS they turned on the heating for us. We were right next to the street, but it’s a pretty quiet are, so there was no issue with noise from the traffic.

ā˜•ļø Dirty Cream Coffee This was honestly one of the best coffees I’ve EVER tasted. It was smooth, sweet, creamy AND the cup was overflowing; I was scared it was going to spill!

🄯 Protein Bagel This bagel was loaded with chicken, dill cream cheese and a bunch of veggies. The bagel was toasted to give a crispy outside and fluffy inside and the filling was so fresh!

🄯 Salmon Bagel My friend got the salmon bagel which she said was also delicious and filling!

Next time I’d be super keen to try the Schnitzel bagel or the Halloumi bagel (which has a hash brown on it!) OR for something sweeter their specialty flavoured cream cheese!

šŸš‚ How to get there? The cafe is only a short walk from Kings Cross station, and you can even walk...

I had great pleasure trying this little cafe. I noticed the long queue over the weekend for their bagels, and tried it during the weekday when there was no waiting. I ordered the viral Dubai milkshake/latte, whichever they call, it doesn’t have caffeine in it, but you can add shots. It is sweet but not too sickly, which is nice for me. It’s basically milkshake with pistachio cream (house made), little thin chips (Kadayif?) and chocolate spread on top. And it was very expensive…. guessing it will go down when the hype for Dubai chocolate subsides? I ordered a bagel and cream cheese, and they were superb, better than the drink. The bagel tasted fresh with great texture, and the cream cheese (picked truffle) was creamy and fresh. The service was great, the staff was happy, kind and helpful, liked small talk with her. She even seemed happy when she saw my empty plates!!! How cute is that… Atmosphere was great too, it’s perhaps a Darlinghurst thing that they love outdoor seatings on the street! Which I do too. It was very nice...
