Arthur's Pizza - Bondi Junction — Restaurant in Sydney

Four of us celebrated the end of Covid-19 lockdown by lunching here on a busy Friday afternoon in mid June. It was good to see such a decent turnout, in fact without a booking, we were lucky to get a nice table in the middle of the room.

And it turned out to be a satisfying, enjoyable and pleasant dining experience. Service was outstanding: friendly, efficient and helpful. Orders were quickly taken and drinks and food came out promptly and in the correct order. Food was of a high standard. I ordered a medium salmon pizza, excellent value at only $17. It had a delicious, thin crispy base, and was topped with lashings of fresh salmon, capers, onions, tomatoes and sour cream. To complement it, a rocket and parmesan salad ($10). It was a generous size, filled with wholesome and nutritious rocket, and sprinkled with a dose of flavoursome parmesan cheese. My dining companions chose the veal or chicken schnitzels, and they all enjoyed their meals.

The ambience was casual, laid back and relaxed, with comfortable chairs, a table large enough to easily fit all the dishes and decent lighting. Upstairs, in the disused part of the restaurant, are clean and well provisioned toilets.

Another plus for Arthur’s is its convenient location in the heart of the Bondi Junction mall.

Went to Arthur’s this evening and ordered for out 2 grandchildren. We were given a number and sat at a table out side we ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta dish. When it was brought out he realised that there were 6 people including the children eating. He raced to the table and told us that they couldn’t eat at the table and told us very rudely to move on. My daughter had ordered a garlic pizza which she was still waiting for he flat refused to make it or refund her. When I went in and demanded a refund or the product he was rude and threatened to call the police. I told him it amounted to theft what he was doing and I would wait. He then gave a refund. At no time was out side food taken to his tables as he kept on saying. Sham on you Arthur a good way to chase away business. Yes it's raining today. However when our food didn't show up after the 40 minutes that was promised for delivery, I waited till an hour to give a ring. The girl on the phone said she was so busy she had to call me back. After 15 minutes there was no call, so called back again. They placed me on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up the phone. I tried calling back 4 more times and they never picked up. So I then called Eat Now, who also tried and they did not pick up. My order was finally cancelled after waiting 1:48 . I asked to file an official complaint but I am sure that will fall on deaf ears. 2:20 after we ordered the food had shown up, even after the order was cancelled. I politely let the driver know we had cancelled and ordered elsewhere. This place is a joke, and will obviously never order...
