Gusto Espresso Bar Bondi Junction — Restaurant in Sydney

I had an appointment to go to but desperately needed coffee and breakfast first so my brain wouldn't melt in the meeting. I knew I was pushing it for time so when ordering I asked how long the eggs would be and the very polite and helpful staff said 5mins, the food arrived around 5mins, and was quite decent and very reasonably priced (two poached eggs on sourdough toast, one slice, with hollandaise sauce and spinach $10 plus a regular cappuccino $3.80).

When ordering, the server asked if I wanted it take away (so I could get away quickly) but also welcomed me to sit down and enjoy my food if I had time. I did! I thought it was very sweet how they packed all the ingredients separately to maintain freshness, providing cutlery and salt too. Great customer service!

The line for coffee was a little long, though for good reason, however the barrista was moving quickly through orders.

Have had flat white and mocca over the last few Christmas days. I'm grateful they still opened during the holiday season here in Bondi Junction. Here it feels very local, you get nice friendly service. I like that is has plenty of small two people tables, plenty of space to sip your coffee while you rest your legs or get ready to start your day. Really love their two bars where you can grab a stool and chat to staff or passersby. Food looked great, just not the right time of day for me. As usual all around Australia, nice complimentary water station. Learn that you Europe/US!!

Mocca could have had a bit more thickness to it, but I think its my fault as I added an extra espresso shot. Good strong coffee taste though, cute late art, velvety steamed milk however too thin, shame it didn't last enough.

Over my business stay in Sydney- each morning Gusto Espresso provided delicious food, excellent coffee, and warm smiles. Welcomed by very friendly staff, familiar with my usual order (Ham & Cheese Croissant, Banana Bread, and Latte); service is amazing. To accomodate the service, is some incredible food. Reasonably priced and very fast to your table. Highly recommended to people passing through the Bondi Junction area. Thankyou to the Gusto Espresso Team for the incredible service...
