RESPONSE TO OWNER: thank you for your response, however it is still rude to not say "have a nice day" or a simple "thank you" to customers, regardless whether they can speak English or not. The whole world knows how to say a simple "thank you". But your staff members just kept quiet and looked down and when we paid, they took the cash and gave the change, then not even a simple "thank you" made us felt unwelcomed. I mean get them to do it to other customers and see how they would feel. And sorry, for the price for the meals, it's not worth it. Small portions and at an expensive price. Won't be coming back. But thank you. I didn't say the food wasn't any good, it just needed flavour. This is coming from an experienced chef. And thank you for letting me know about that grey sauce. I just forgot what it was called. And all I said was that you can't just rely on dipping sauce for the flavour. The food itself needed flavour too. I really liked the presentation though. It stands out. Presentation was brilliant. It's just the flavour and service that needs adjustment. Thank you/ Cam On

Wednesday 11th September 2024 Lunch 12pm - 1:30pm

Tried here for first time with my dad and our experience are as follows:

food was average service was average, they need to learn to speak English more. atmosphere was comfortable, spacious dining room

Was charged $35 and $20 which makes $55. But we were charged $58.. I don't know why but unless they charge for water. Which is $3 if that's the case.

Food needed more flavour. You can't just rely on dipping sauce. And the grey sauce needs to be diluted abit. It's way too salty.

Quite expensive for the portions they given us. It's almost just like eating salad (Please refer photos).. the presentation of each meal looks good though

As we left not a even a "thank you" or "have a nice day" from ANY of the staffs so we just walked out after paying. Very impolite customer service. Never coming back again.

The food and service is so much better at Canley heights and Cabra vale

Anyone going to Nang Ghang, double check the prices if they're correct before leaving.

I would NOT EVEN...

Went in for lunch and got the 2 person lunch special which included pork belly, spring rolls, sticky rice patties, fried tofu, mint and lettuce. Also got the rice paper and vermicelli noodles. The food was nice, however I much prefer the rice paper that you actually immerse in water (the rice paper we got was meant to be easily wrapped up and eaten without adding any moisture to it). It got a tad messy as the paper was cracking and didnt hold the filling together well. Portion size was pretty decent for $35. Added $7 for the rice paper and vermicelli which wasnt too bad. The iced coffee was nice, however it was very sweet (needed to pour water in it)… and that’s considering I usually love condensed milk. Customer service was good, however at times I felt that I needed to polish up on my Viet in order to be able to order (luckily they had menus with photos which we could point at). The shrimp paste sauce was nice (although definitely an acquired taste). I would have loved the option of ngoc cham sauce also, however, this was nice to. Conveniently located inbetween TK something (not sure why google maps shows it as being at the back of the block). Many seats inside, however does fill up...

Seafood Set $79 ⭐️ (usually with crayfish but they ran out so we swapped for the prawns with salted egg yolk) delicious! Love trying a bit of everything. Scallops and chilli prawn skewers were my fav. Dau Hu Kim Sa $18 ⭐️ tofu with salted egg yolk was everyone’s favourite dish of the night. Goi Oc Ngo Sen $30 ⭐️ lotus root salad with snail is a refreshing salad! Com Chien Hai San $22 ⭐️ seafood fried rice has juicy prawns, cuttlefish and mini mussels. Ga U Muoi Thao Moc Half $29 ⭐️ free range chicken was juicy and fragrant. Set bun dau mam tom for 2pp $35 ⭐️ I only recommend if you’re used to Viet food. The sauce is a pungent fermented shrimp paste and everything else is plain so you HAVE to use the sauce. I love that you get a little bit of everything but wished there was more salad. Spring rolls and sticky rice patties were my fav. Pea-Apple Mocktail Jug $20 - too sweet

✨ try it for yourself ⭐️ I recommend it!

Overall: Weekends get busy so service can be a bit frazzled. Also went on a weekday and service was quicker with food arriving super fast! Everything is fresh and...
