Bar Noun (Green Square Acai) — Restaurant in Sydney

Very friendly waitress front of service but absolutely rude man (manager/owner?) at the inside counter during the afternoon bar service.

EDIT: let's just be clear. I initially asked your waitress about coffee (which you'd stopped serving) and then if there were restrooms in the area - she said "yes you can use the one inside". Hence the reason I went in. I told you this, but you didn't care to listen and instead had rudely asked "where are you going?" and to "use the maccas toilet" instead while gesturing as if swatting a fly out. I walked out sheepishly, but went in second time (not to try using the toilet again) but because your rudeness was uncalled for and did not want to walk away without letting you know you were "not nice". In my shock and anger I could've chosen my words better.

Also - at no time did you (or the waitress) ask me about the covid check in (being the crux of your response). In fact, I did check in and I was wearing a mask. I've attached the check-in confirmation below this review.

These are tough times but it doesn't mean you should be talking to someone this way. Neither should you be twisting the story as per your response reply and clearly evidences the type of person you are.

We live nearby and enjoyed having your shop enrich and enliven the area but safe to say we won't be frequenting your cafe or bar...

I’ve been staying locally for business for a few days and getting morning coffees here. The coffee has been great, and the service up until today has been good. Today was another matter. The server was grumpy and abrupt, and didn’t convey any sense that he liked interacting with humans. I also decided to try some food, as the menu looks really appealing. I ordered the three cheese toastie, and for some bizarre reason unbeknownst to me, they’ve added extra salt to the cheese. It was virtually inedible, it was so salty. I’m hoping that todays service and the cheese toastie are exceptions rather...

I was standing outside this venue, drinking a drink from another place, when the owner approached me outside the venue very aggressively, took the drink out of my hands, and threatened to kick me out, humiliating me in front of everyone who was there. I wasn’t aware that drinking a drink from another place near there wasn’t allowed, but there’s a polite way to handle situations like this, especially if you’re the owner of a place like this. Professionalism is needed to handle hospitality situations like this. Be careful with him and don’t let him treat you badly. I’m never going back near...
