Incompetence of labor is commonplace in Australia but this KFC beats all levels. Items were missing from my order. On my complaint, they asked me to wait 2 minutes. After 10 minutes of wait, I asked again only to found that the incompetent lady 'forgot'. It took them another 10 minutes to deliver the missing item. I asked for ketchup and the lady, despite causing substantial inconvenience, was brave (shameless?) enough to ask 50 cents for ketchup. However, as I was paying, they made the Nobel prize winning discovery that KFC is out of ketchup at 2:35 pm. I wanted to complain. Hence, I asked for the receipt which usually gives the link to feedback form. Three staff members tried for another 15 minutes to give me the receipt and could not. Can you imagine? Finally, when I got the honor to return to my food, I found it saltier than poison. Chicken was not properly cooked. It was still raw. However, I did not have the energy to deal with these queens of incompetence at the KFC. Also, none of them were wearing name tags, otherwise I would love to name and shame them here. In US, many KFC employees do not make even $10 an hour but from New York to California, there is no way you receive wrong order or quality differs across locations. If there is any issue, they apologize and compensate instead f shamelessly asking 50 cents for ketchup. Here, with the privilege of 25+ dollar/hour, KFC employees are so incompetent, dumb, and not to...
Read moreConsistently bad chicken. Worst of all are their Traditional Recipe Chicken Pieces, they are frequently covered in a thin batter, then cooked either too long so that they're tough and stringy, or done well for the meat but the batter isn't crisp and completely cooked so it's left soggy and mushy.
Also the size of the pieces, whether they be wings and the breast pieces are particularly small compared to other KFC's.
I've ordered from there 6 or so times this last year and can honestly say they're one of the worst KFC's in terms of the quality of their cooking. Like, it's not hard, apply a generous amount of batter, place it chicken into the steel container that is loaded into a pressure cooker filled with hot oil and let it cook for the appropriate amount of time. It's genuinely no more complicated than say frying chips but for some reason this KFC is unable to do it.
People dream of that perfect piece of KFC, the big drumstick with a thick layer of original recipe batter, or instances like that. It looks so perfect it's like something out a cartoon, but it can be reality, if only the people making the chicken actually cared and followed the...
Read moreFor a Fast food business I would expect my food to be delivered with a sense of urgency and the product I purchase to be edible but alas I have had to come here to warn people. The store lacks the ability to meet time expectations and while you wait for ur food, the items will not be fresh. I would like this comment to reach management as they are not producing staff members who meet fast food standards and I would find it unlikely that ur staff members would be productive in any other job role if they wishes to leave for bigger and better things (train them better). This stems from incompetent management, your one job should at least be to produce the best grade food possible and by following fresh food rotations - if ur management and staff are unwilling to provide a smile with ur customer service. (Manager on shift Caitlin) Just go to the McDonald’s or Taco Bell next door, this place does not deserve the support...
