Bar Sopra Potts Point — Restaurant in Sydney

Sopra Cafe is part of the glowingly famous Fratelli Fresh - a specialist market known for the quality of it's fine produce. The day we visited a feature on the menu was "pizza without perspective" served up in irregular shaped slices of rudeness and pretension. I bought my family here - we were largely ignored. After 20 minutes of waiting in no man's land - among sterile supermarket aisles - we were informed we could wait at the bar! The derision on the servers face was easily their best asset - and would make this place well worth a visit - if sneering and negativity are your thing. Bar Sopra is our go-to for kicking off our Potts Point Dining tour. Located on the buzzing corner of Macleay Street & Challis Ave, this is a great place to people-watch whilst sipping a fabulous Gin Fizz cocktail or a glass of fine Spanish, Italian or Australian wine. Accompanied by a selection of tasty tapas or a decadent charcuterie board. The interior design is by Guru Projects with style and comfort in mind. Aparna and her team are always welcoming and pay attention to the details when it comes to looking after their guests. I am disappointed i don't seem to have the pictures of Sopra. It was a pleasant afternoon with indoor and outdoor seating with my friend. We sat indoors at a huge window with our feet on the window sill, sometimes hopping in or out through the window. We had a pleasant chat, pleasant drink, we chatted with others and met a 3 legged dog. I shall return very soon so it can take a few more pictures. And as you can see from the bill the price was very reasonable with considering a number of drinks...
