this section is added on 16/06/23. I have recently changed my sleeping pattern, and now I woke up at 5am, which allows me to sit here with a large latte, and I love it. I took a photo of the latte. it was so nicely done, very frothy and soomth. Plus, the stuff are very friendly in the morning :], much appreciated.
I have tried all the cafes in Eastwood, and this is the only one I can give a five star review.
This section is added on 29 May 2023. Ordered a large latte, and got a lovely latte art. The toasties are also very nice. I got a loaf of milk bread, and they are very soft and milky. Happy to keep the 5 star review :]. ———————-
This is one of my recommended cafes in Eastwood, and out of all the coffee shops in this suburb, I would say this place is the most spacious of them all. I have taken some photos of the inside so you can have a view of the dinning sections.
If you prefer to have your coffee while doing a bit people watching, you can sit out, but if you want a bit conditioned air, walk in and get surprised by the huge sitting areas. I was fooled by the small entrance too, but this place defo has some place to offer lol.
I also took a photo of the bathroom which I value a lot. This bathroom is very clean and without random things piled up. This is a plus for me.
You can get cakes and breads like a regular Korean cafe, so no need to worry about food.
The staff are chill, not over friendly. I reckon this is a good place for spending a few hours with a...
Read moreSpent 25$ on bread and cakes, which I think is overly the top spending for a bakery. The French toast was bland and had no crunch or flavour at all, it was so soft. I would think it would have some sort of butter taste as it is French toast. I had one bite and I couldn’t eat it anymore. The garlic bread baguette was different, had the garlic and butter flavour there. But was weird with carrots. It was sweet when it should be a savoury type of bread. The Lemon meringue tart was decorated beautifully however the meringue does not melt in your mouth, it was soft and didn’t have the right texture. The lemon curd had no lemon flavour it was so bland. For 7$ I could have purchased a decent lemon meringue tart packed with flavour elsewhere at the same price and be completely satisfied. The cheesecake was for my partner so I can’t really comment much. But he said it was so-so and wasn’t satisfied. Customer service was bland, I was looking at their cake stand but was asked to pay at the counter. Even though I mentioned I wanted the cakes. So I wish I didn’t have to ask them the second time for the cakes and saved myself my money. I felt like she didn’t want to serve me at all. Most likely because of my ethical background. She was emotionless and univiting, discrimination in any aspect is not tolerated in my books. Overall the food was bland and the customer service was bland. I wouldn’t want to support a business that discriminates. So I won’t go back...
Read moreWe were in front of the counter waited to be served (only us at the time) and there were 3 girls giggled and laughed as we waited no one looked up and offered to serve. I had to asked if they are serving Bingsu here. The girl at the cash register replied yep and looked a bit bothered! So my daughter ordered a mango Bingsu She then told my daughter it will be $33 then she said oh it’s included public holiday surcharge that’s why it’s a bit high price. I’m not complaining about surcharge but a $30 for a Bingsu???? Gone ahead to order one since my daughter wanted to try. The Bingsu was just shaved ice with mango syrup, bits of frozen mango so sour and hard frozen which toped it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream THAT IS IT. You seriously charged this Bingsu $30 with no decent real fruit. I’m not asking for a cheap price here but there is no value in justify the price plus we got such a bad service today definitely made it such shocking experience for us....
