Great cafe at the rocks for tourist and CBD workers. Came across this on entertainment book which offered one complimentary main when another equal or greater value is purchased. It’s located right next to Belgium beer cafe at the rocks, 5 minutes walk from both Wynyard and circular quay stations. Price is decent for the quality and quantity on the plate and taste really good. Service is fantastic and food came out quick. Highly recommend the grilled chicken as main which is tender and juicy, button mushrooms, mashed potatoes grilled prawn and with a beautiful cream sauce. Filling risotto? They are just as delicious, the chicken and mushroom risotto has generous pieces of chicken but it is the texture of the rice and flavours that make this dish mouth watering. Brew cafe has become one of my favourite lunch cafes and has become increasing popular over the last 6 months. Reservations essential to guarantee a table.

We ate here every morning for breakfast on our travels. The staff was amazing. Roger and Mia welcomed us each morning, remembered us the second day. The food was top notch, delicious and presented professionally and artistically. We tried something new each morning and each dish was as perfect. Coffee was delicious. Quick service as well! Dennis was so kind. We loved the atmosphere. I wish I could have taken the whole place home with me. I highly recommend this fabulous restuarant cafe!

Very disappointing. I followed the other reviews and I was either unfortunate or the clientelle has no taste. The food on display looked not fresh, everything covered with glad wrap. The coffee was one of the worst. It seemed to be deluted as we ordered large. The burgers patties were mushy and burned. Fries soaked in fat... Everything looked like it's 2005 or smth, and it would be fine if the would taste good, but this was made by amateurs...

Popped in for breakfast on the way to Sydney Bridgeclimb. All went well until the food order arrived and one was wrong (sourdough bread instead of French toast, but time was tight so just went with it) and one if the Sour Dough bread slices had mould on. The poached eggs were undercooked and the crispy bacon was just normal bacon overcooked. The waitress offered to not charge us for one of the 4 dollar coffees, however, after suggesting there was no way I was paying for two overcooked/undercooked/mouldy breakfasts she spoke to her boss and we left paying for both coffees. Probably not typical of the food offering here but our experience wasn't great followed up by really poor...

Nice old industrial building that slightly masks the cheap diner style. Everything looks messy and cheap, however prices are on par with expensive city cafes. I can't understand all the good reviews as I thought I have average standards, maybe it's gotten worse recently. I ate here twice to give them a second chance but I rate the food and coffee as average to below par. Breakfast wasn't bad, but the lunch food was bland with cheap, processed-tasting ingredients. Nothing about the place felt like they put...
