Unique and Different Experience. Pretty expensive compared to something similar like bowling. $24 per person for a 60 min slot. Not easy to find the price and I guess that's why. Adds up and the more players you add, more it costs for less actual play time.
It's cool and unique. It's worth doing at least once, if your not paying or value is not your thing.
And If you're not interested in playing, then it's a very good bar.
Top golf your time costs the same regardless of players. Bowling you have as long as you need to finish. Being similar alternative social activities.
My main criticism is it's an expensive experience and gets more expensive the more people you have. If you got more time per person or fixed fee for time regardless of group size then I would say it's a must do.
Food was reasonable, no complaints. It's comparable to other similar experiences and was satisfying. TheAtmosphere is amazing and really bosts the experience. You should have a good time.
This is not just darts. Lots of fun different games that just happen to use the dart board as the way to play the game.
My experience at the venue left me feeling a few things were harder than they need to be. And ultimately I got my food, had my drinks and a good fun game.
I struggle with this review as I had a good time and want it to be a 5 star. The service on the day was lacking and had to be a 4 star at best. Hopefully I will go in the future and have a better experience, and there is no reason from my experience, that wouldn't be the case.
Still really not comfortable that it costs over $100 for 60 mins with 4 friends and over $150 for same 60 mins with 6 friends. Expecting to pay per minute regards of group size or each additional person adds to the groups time.
5 star potential. Nothing to avoid, just missing what makes it a top experience it could be. And leaves the total experience as OK.
Location is a super short walk from stops for most major transport in the city. Train, Tram, Metro, Ferry and Bus. Great so you can have a few more drinks and not have to worry about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a welcoming team, I'm just visiting my mates here in Sydney for the week, had a little walk around the city and stumbled upon "Flight Club". The name sounded oddly familiar but I didn't think it was the same as what we have in WA... Boy was I wrong. BEAUTIFUL VENUE. Probably better than Perth's (don't tell them that) We were warmly welcomed from the moment we walked past the door and stuck our heads in. Took to venture through the Club and have a browse around, When we were greeted by Frank (manager) who was very kind in receiving us, and he set us up with a complementary hour of darts. What a gentleman. The staff that looked after us for the 2 and a bit ours (we purchased another hour game after don't worry) were phenomenal also. Isabel, Jemima and Tom were bloody fantastic! Honestly wish that my time out here in Sydney cats extended because I would be visiting this place more times than I could. Thank you Frank, and the team for making this and unforgettable...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy first visit to a Flight Club was generally impressive. The highlights for me are the friendly staff and the decor, which is interesting, inviting and offers a great place to hang out with friends.
The bar had great range of craft and mainstream beers but the only issue for me was the food, which was average at best and disappointing at worst. My friend thought the salt & pepper squid was generic and the burger was ok but nothing special or worthy of the premium price point.
The unforgiveable thing, was the passionfruit cheesecake, which was still frozen in the centre when served, but to be fair the pavlova was delicious.
All up, I would recommend the flight club as a great get together place for groups of friends and while I definitely won't be returning for the food, I will go back to throw some "arrows" with my friends and I recommend the venue and...
