Because I work in the City, my colleague and I venture out and explore new places for lunch on a regular basis.. we found this place, and checked out the food, and what we saw looked appetising and fresh. We both ordered the Slow Cooked Beef with Mushrooms, and a side of Veges. However, when it was delivered what we ordered, still looking fresh and taste was lovely, the downside was the temperature of the food which was luke warm to cold which was the disappointing result of what I had imagined it would be, especially when you are paying $18 for a lunch. The staff were lovely, and at the end when they cleared our table, we were asked if our meal was ok, so we did verbally share, to which the response was they would let the chef know. Would I eat here again, yes I think I would, just hope that the food temperature is a lot...

If there is any place I need to go to for a good, healthy, well balanced breakfast or lunch that serves great coffee or herbal tea (rooibos is my favourite), Grand Duk is my default place and this is despite all the new restaurants that have opened and are opening up in Sydney CBD. In my experience, Grand Duk has always offered a consistent and high standard of food and service over the years I've been there since it opened a few years back which keeps me drawing me back to them. They know my name and what coffee or drink I like, whether I want soy or almond milk. The service staff will bend over backwards for you to ensure you are happy with your visit. I love there selection of salads during lunch time and the flexibility to choose what you want. Price is very...

Charming little cafe in Grosvenor place with outdoor seating. If its cold they offer blankets to keep you warm too. Service is friendly and efficient and there are food to order from the menu or design your own plate with all the offerings displayed nicely in the windows. There is a great variety of food to choose from and all looked appetising and fresh. I chose the braised lamb, chicken schnitzel, fries and chorizo pasta on this occasion. Generous portions and lamb was very tender and flavoursome and chicken schnitzel crispy. Pasta was also good and fries were soggy as it was on the bottom of the plate but it was fine. Coffee is good as was the brownie. A lovely spot for a casual, tasty and...
