@banksiasydney was one of my top must visit places for when i visited @sydney and *gasp* i’m so glad we made time to head over🄹✨🤩some unexpected misses and surprise hits, keep reading to find out which ones were which~āœØšŸ‘€ we gotāœØšŸ½ļø: šŸ’–rhubarb danish ($8.5) šŸŠmandarin blossom mont blanc swirl ($12) šŸ§€basque burnt cheesecake ($10) for the LONGEST time i’ve seen their famous swirl wheel croissants pastries, for this month it was with spiced pumpkin and mandarin confit topped with vanilla chantily and chestnut cream~šŸŠāœØšŸ”„hmmm~ it definitely was very fragrant and aromatic tasting, however i do wish there was more filling within it or at least creamier filling to help with the dryness of the pastry~🧐i did mainly get this for the aesthetics of it though-🤣✨ šŸ’–the rhubarb danish was nice~ nothing out of the ordinary! nice flavours, wished it was more crispy and airy though~🄹🤧 now… the unexpected massive hit that blew us out of the park was their cheesecake!! we didn’t even know they had a cheesecake until we got there and only spontaneously selected it, and oh. my. god.šŸ¤©šŸ”„šŸ¤Æi adore cheese and cheesecakes and this was the most CREAMY, decadent but still light and fluffy cheesecake i’ve ever had, do you SEE the creamy imprint the fork is leaving holy cheese- hands down best cheesecake i’ve ever had, i’m sad i didn’t savour more slices🄹🤧i’ll be back for you my love *cries* in conclusion, i do recommend @banksiasydney what a stunning and minimalistic space and location they have! and an impressive selection of baked goods and treats too! although i would have preferred crispier and flakier layers in the swirl and danish, the cheesecake saved the day and i’ll go back JUST for that🄹🄰

Banksia is a very very dangerous place, once you try there desserts and patisserie it becomes an addiction to keep going back. Not only are they super delicious, you’re going to become super broke as well. Banksia bakery originally started out in Banksia and now they have opened their second shop at Grosvenor Place which is between Wynyard and Circular Quay. My first impressions of Banksia is their amazing cake display, they sell an array of cakes from small to large, macarons of different flavours, lots of delicious desserts, scones and a huge selection of bakery goods for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. There’s just too much to try and that’s why it will make you go back again and again. Banksia sell the grounds coffee, but the coffee isn’t great so if your a picky coffee person go to your favourite place instead, after all it’s a bakery they don’t specialise in coffee. Their packaging is very nice as well using quality materials, catchy colours and large fonts on takeaway bags, cake boxes and loyalty coffee cards. There cakes, desserts, bakery foods are not cheap. To give you an approximate idea, buy any dessert or baked product plus a coffee, you’re already walking out the door spending almost $20. If you go there daily that’s 100 bucks! Overall Banksia has developed their brand as well as reputation. Their patisserie and desserts is a joy to eat and I guess worthy of the price.

Banksia Bakehouse is one of my favourite places to get a sweet treat for sure. It’s tucked into the back of Grosvenor Place, with a sleek fountain and a calm little courtyard out front. What really catches your eye is the huge glass window gallery packed with cakes and pastries. Everything looks sculpted, glossy, and ridiculously well-presented. The Almond Croissant is flaky, loaded with almond flakes, and surprisingly balanced. rich frangipane inside without being overly sweet or greasy. The CrĆØme BrĆ»lĆ©e Danish feels kinda underrated from people I talk to but it feels like a sleeper hit to me with crisp sugar top like an actual crĆØme brĆ»lĆ©e, with silky custard tucked inside a soft Danish pastry. Not too heavy, and you get that satisfying crack with every bite. This month’s special, the Coffee & Walnut Praline Swirl is defintiely for the coffee dessert lovers. It’s got layers of white coffee ganache crĆØme pĆ¢tissiĆØre, walnut praline, a light mascarpone cream on top, dusted with cocoa powder and finished with candied walnuts and a chocolate-covered coffee bean. Textural, nutty, creamy and just super well thought out. They’ve got a pretty broad range of desserts and viennoiseries, and the quality across the board has always been excellent šŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļø

Banksia Bakehouse in Sydney is a culinary delight that captivates the senses. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly baked goods envelops you, promising a delectable experience. Their artisanal approach shines through in every pastry, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures.

The croissants, flaky and buttery, transport you to a Parisian patisserie. Each layer delicately crumbles, revealing a rich, decadent core. The almond croissant, adorned with a generous layer of toasted almonds, is a heavenly indulgence that elevates the classic.

The selection of sourdough bread is a testament to their commitment to quality. The crust boasts a satisfying crunch, giving way to a soft, chewy interior. Whether you prefer traditional sourdough or adventurous variants like olive and rosemary, each loaf is a masterclass in artisan baking.

Banksia Bakehouse's attention to detail extends to their savory offerings. The gourmet pies, filled with high-quality ingredients, showcase a harmonious blend of flavors. The butter chicken pie, for instance, marries succulent chicken with a velvety curry sauce, encased in a flawless pastry shell.

What sets this bakery apart is its innovative spirit. The dessert selection, featuring unique creations like matcha and yuzu tarts, demonstrates a willingness to push culinary boundaries. Each bite is a journey of discovery, with unexpected flavor combinations that leave a lasting impression.

The ambiance is warm and inviting, with friendly staff adding to the overall charm. Whether you're a seasoned food enthusiast or simply craving a delightful treat, Banksia Bakehouse is a haven for discerning palates. Prepare to be enchanted by a symphony of flavors that defines the epitome of artisanal...
