Cafe 506 — Restaurant in Sydney

This cafe is an absolute delight! The atmosphere is cozy yet stylish, with a modern feel and just a hint of mid-century modern charm. The cute decor and beautiful contemporary paintings give it so much character.

The food is a fantastic mix of Asian-inspired and classic cafe dishes. I tried the Portuguese chicken burger (with a bun swap) and the dry egg noodles with crispy pork and a sunny-side-up egg—both were absolutely delicious! The flavours were spot-on, and the portion sizes were generous, which was a nice surprise. My friend had the wonton noodles and said they were amazing, so I’m already looking forward to trying those next time.

The iced long black I ordered was perfect—smooth, well-balanced, and refreshing, with none of that unpleasant bitterness or sourness you sometimes get.

To top it off, the owners and staff were genuinely lovely and made me feel so welcome. If you’re after great food, excellent coffee, and a space that feels both stylish and inviting, this cafe is well worth a visit....

We had the pleasure of visiting Cafe 506 recently, and I can’t say enough good things! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the cozy, inviting atmosphere – the interior design is beautifully done, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal.

We tried a few dishes, including the chicken wrap, grilled chicken noodles, and wonton noodles. All of them were delicious, but we especially loved the wonton noodles. They had such a comforting, authentic, home-cooked feel that made us feel right at home.

I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu. This place is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a warm, welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely...

This is my absolute favourite cafe to go to for lunch. Everything is so incredibly fresh and the staff are beyond lovely. The cafe is always spotless no matter what time or day I go in!! I love getting the fresh wraps and the wonton noodle soup is delicious. The wontons are made fresh daily so are full of flavour and the chilli oil is also delicious and made in house!! I’ve never liked wontons and now I’m ordering them constantly because they’re just so good! Everyone I bring to Cafe 506 now also just wants to come here for lunch every time they’re around because it really is that great!
