I had The Brothers Project saved in my bookmarks, and it was nearby. With no other options, I decided to bite the bullet and pay the 10% weekend surcharge.
The cafe has a great ambiance with a minimalist industrial style, though the gloomy weather that day made the interior feel a bit dull. If the weather is nice, I highly recommend sitting outside or by the window.
đ€Prawn Scrambled Egg on Croissant The scrambled eggs inside the croissant were seasoned well, with lots of seaweed flakes, and it came with four large prawns. The croissant itself was perfectly crispy, and the eggs were likely mixed with milk to make them extra tender. However, the dish did become a bit greasy after a while.
đTiramisu French Toast This dish had a lot of flair! You get to pull up the plastic wrap, and the cream inside slowly drips down, making it perfect for a video. The toast was rich with cream, coffee sauce, and Tim Tam crumbs. The toast was crispy on the outside and soft inside, with the cream being smooth and the cookie bits adding a nice crunch. It was slightly on the sweeter side, so I recommend pairing it with coffee to balance out the flavors.

I originally wanted to try the Crab Croissant that others had posted about, but I was told it was part of a previous menu and has since been replaced with the Prawn version. This cafe is a sister store to The Brothers Cafe in Haymarket, which specializes in French toast. However, I personally prefer the soufflé from the...
Read moreWent here for brunch with my daughter. Iâd seen this cafe a few times in passing and finally decided to try it out. Was so pleased we did.
We started by sharing the Prawn scrambled eggs. This was delicious, it was miso scrambled eggs, prawns, sesame seed and furikake on a croissant, with a side of pickled ginger. Simply amazing. Even the pickle added a brilliant touch to the taste, which I was a bit hesitant to try, but it was superb
We also shared the Brûlée French toast, which was next level. It was a crÚme brûlée mascarpone on French toast with strawberries on the side. The taste was out of this world.
Service was really good and coffee was also great. Highly recommend, and weâll be back
Update: we did go back. Everything was excellent again. This time we had the RosĂš pasta, which was a pasta in a beautiful rich and creamy sauce. This had us almost licking the plate it was so good (but we didnât, so donât worry). We also tried the tiramisu French toast. This was stunning and could be our new favourite French toast - weâll have to do a side by side comparison
Yet another update: had the crab croissant today. Another brilliant plate. This place...

The cafe is large and open, with a warm and clean atmosphere. Staff are always smiling and the open plan area, allowing you to also see kitchen staff busy working.
Coffee here is very good and one of the rare cafes where it doesn't have a hints of burnt coffee. It was an actual pleasure to sit down and drink a coffee that I didn't make myself.
Scrambled eggs had an excellent texture and just the right balance of seasoning and other goodness they put in... not oily or sloppy. Staff even got my request for "well done" eggs spot on!
The toast with my eggs was perfect. Just the right amount of butter soaked in and just the right amount of crunch... I am surprised how they have gotten even the simple things right.
I have only recently discovered this cafe, but it will definitely become part of my "go to" lunch spots. There are so many average places in Beaconsfield, it's easy to remember the good ones!
I highly recommend and would...
