This used to be our favourite Thai restaurant in Sydney. But a run of sub-standard, flavourless dishes culminated in tonight's horror effort.

I placed a takeaway order at 7.13pm and was told it would be a 20min wait so I went for a walk to kill the time. I arrived back at the restaurant and was given my order at 7.40pm. I walked home in the rain and we settled down to enjoy our meal.

The problem with my stir fry beef Seasoning Noodles was obvious - it was neither stirred nor fried! Just huge clumps of cold, sliced beef that was barely browned on the edges; noodles that were doughy and rock-hard cold vegetables.

I called the restaurant to complain and was floored by the response "Yeah, well we're really busy tonight and the chef is racing to get them out." Somewhat speechless, I asked him to confirm what he'd just said. I did hear it correctly and there was ZERO surprise (or apology) about what had happened because they are just really busy!

I was given the choice of walking 15mims back in the rain to get a replacement or get a credit for next time. I politely explained that I would decline both as there will be no next time.

To the staff and owners of Seasoning Thai - I promised I'd upload the photos so you could see what you sold me tonight. There's a bonus pic of me attempting to make it safe by cooking it in a cast iron pan at home.

I genuinely wish nothing but the worst for your business given the contempt you show for your once...

Ordered food at 6pm and told 30 minutes until delivery. Called at 7.10pm to get an ETA and told food was on the way (I live 1 street away). At 7.20pm called back and told they were busy and to call back later, than hung up on. Called back at 7.30pm and was told food was on way again. After making my disatisfaction clear, I was then asked to wait while the lady called the driver. After waiting on hold for 5 minutes I was hung up on. I've now ordered from another restaurant and wont be eating or paying a cent when the driver arrives. @seasoning Thai - your service is a joke!

Having lived in the same area for 8 years and dining at this place regularly over that period, the food and service were generally good in the past. The restaurant was sold to new owners a few years ago and both food and service have taken a steep decline.

If you want good quality food and decent service - WOULD NOT...

As a local I have been visiting this restaurant frequently for the last 18months, while it is pleasing to see they have picked up their game with the decor the meals are still too small.... customer service is where this place severely lacks, they refuse to split bills and they charge a hefty $2 fee on debit cards which I am not even sure is legal.... given most meals+ an entrée come to $20 that's 10% just in some made up fee. I disputed this with the women on the counter, and after a heated debate i left being ripped off and had her insulting me in Thai !!!

Unfortunately this will be my last ever visit to the restaurant, customer service is absolutely vulgar!

I suggest you don't even bother with this place, there is a much better Thai restaurant down near Zetland that has delightful service called...
