cafe d'Yvoire — Restaurant in Sydney

First time I was impress with the coffee served .

I’ve been there a few times.

The last time I was not impressed with their coffee skills and it was a recent trip to this coffee shop.

They made me a cup of coffee,my order was a extra hot coffee takeaway.

What they did was added hot water into the coffee because the coffee they made was short of milk.

I saw what the man did he added hot water into the coffee and closed the cup.

I thought that was strange practice.

I didn’t want to make a fuss I took my coffee .

I had a sip of the coffee and the coffee tasted as if it was topped up with hot water.

This was not a good experience.

Just be aware of that :(.

Maybe I should have ordered a regular coffee rather than an extra hot coffee, would they have used the same method to top up the coffee,I don't know.

I'm a bit hesitant to go back to buy my coffee from them.

I go to the main village now near woolworths, there are many coffee...

Disappointed!!!

My husband and I went to this café for our morning coffee, we’re regular customers and have always enjoyed it hereas we come couple times a week!! I’m very pregnant, so we picked a comfortable spot outside to relax. Partway through, the male waiter came over and asked us to leave our table and go inside so other customers with dogs could sit there.

We were shocked and disappointed. It’s not easy for me to move around right now, and it felt like we weren’t valued, even though we come here regularly. This kind of treatment completely ruined what should have been a peaceful morning. We won’t be coming back...

The food is really well balanced, with nice healthy options as well as delicious treats. Very good coffee from Little Marionette. Great atmosphere created by the old furniture, all white paint scheme, marble tables and tea and coffee displays. It feels french in a way that France rarely does. The best element of the cafe has to be its service, the staff are attentive and warm. They have he patience to listen to a 6 year old customizing her order and the skill to interpret, convey and deliver on all those little changes. I was very impressed. Might just have to make this our new weekend...
