One of the popular cafes at roselands shopping centre.

Environment 4/5 Couldn’t find the cafe at first, it is located at one of the entrance of the mall closer to coles. There’s indoor and outdoor, not many seats in there, with comfortable spacing.

Service 3/5 Quite disappointed with their coffee service. I don’t see many customers before me, maybe 3? But we waited for more than 10 minutes to get our coffee.

Cappuccino + ice long black 5/5 Although it has taken more than 10 minutes for me to get the coffee, it is good coffee. Nice aroma, well blended taste and right sourness and bitterness.

Beef burger 5/5 Surprisingly good to be honest, thick and juicy patty, go with medium if you can take slightly rare beef. Although I’m not a fan of beetroot but it blended well with the cheese and patty. Crispy milk bun, perfect!

Garlic prawn pasta 5/5 Well cooked pasta and generous amount of big prawns. Not sure how they cooked it but the prawn is very well marinated. Olive oil with a little bit of chilli with the garlic after taste. Yummm!

It was one of those good mornings where everything just clicked — the sun was shining, the warmth was just right, and the family was in the mood to celebrate the end of school holidays. Naturally, brunch was calling, and Alhamdulillah, we found the perfect spot!

From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. Here’s a bonus for all my fellow halal eaters: don’t let the unmarked menu fool you — the bacon, ham, and everything else here is 100% halal. (Yes, you read that right.) Their halal beef bacon was perfectly crispy, and trust me, that’s not something every kitchen can pull off.

And let me not forget: they have the best dark chocolate mocha I have ever had. Rich, smooth, and not too sweet — just how it should be.

If you’re a family man, take notes: this is the place to bring your family — not just for the great food and warm atmosphere, but also because you’ll get to fulfill your sacred dad-duty: finishing off everyone else’s dishes and drinks. That’s what dads are built for, right?

I visited this café around 3:40pm and chose to sit at one of the outdoor tables. The entrance appeared closed, and no customers were visible inside, so I assumed the café was no longer operating for the day. Shortly after, a staff member approached and asked if I intended to purchase a coffee, explaining that the outdoor seating was reserved for paying customers only. While I understand and respect the policy, the manner in which it was communicated felt unnecessarily abrupt and discourteous—especially given that no other customers were waiting to be seated. I ended up buying a drink simply to remain seated outside, despite the café seemingly preparing to close. I hope the team reconsiders how they engage with potential patrons and adopts a more welcoming and respectful tone...
