Bought pizza from here due to the good reviews it has. Bought a family meal worth $43; one of the pizzas I bought (to be delivered) was the Bombay chicken pizza which has tandoori paste on the base as per description. I bought this to taste something different. The delivery was on time (one hour later after delivery; this was mentioned before buying, so not an issue). However, when they brought the food they forgot the pepsi. Hence I had to eat the pizza without any drink. This is okay since humans forget; however any reputable service would at least give discount for such a mistake. That's what I would do if I was a store owner. Nonetheless, that wasn't the worst of it. The bombay chicken had no tandoori paste; heck it had no paste at all (not tomato, not tandoori, not soy, not pesto, not whatever you want to call it). I called them back up, and spoke to the manager/chef (Tony..probably short for Antonio). He said "I definately put the tandoori sauce as I made it with my own hands". I said I can definately see no sauce. I said I can take a picture of it and show you. He insisted that 'no I definately made it with my hands, so I know what I put it in. I can make you another pizza but it will be the same" I said there is no point in making another pizza if it still has no tandoori paste; I am not here to gain extra profit, I just want my right as a customer to be given what I pay for. I even showed the delivery boy who eventually bought the pepsi; he didn't give a comment (it seems liked he didn't want to get in the bosses bad side; which is something wrong as when you stay silent of evil then you become part of it). So I think either this man is arrogant (doesn't admit to mistake) or a liar. Definately not buying from here again; I was going to buy more given the options they had (many different varieties of pizza that I never tasted). The first pictures are of what was delivered; and the last is what was suppossed to be delivered. UPDATE at 8:24pm to reply to the owner Just like how it is COVID restriction for you, it is the same for me. My money is not from the bin. I worked hard for it as well; so when things don't look as the image shows and it says there is tandoori sauce/paste then I expect there to be one. If you think the images I took and the one in the right with the paste (on the side) as well as the redness of the pizza are the same, then you have a vision problem my friend. I feel like I was deceived and I feel like my money went to waste. This is why I am writing a review. If there was no basis to my comment I would not write a negative review. My intention is not to harm your business. My intention is to make sure justice prevails and people don't just waste their money on something that is either incorrectly described or not present at all. I am not a pizza person; I don't have a business in order to degrade/blaspheme your business so that my one grows. I am just writing how I felt and saw things, so that others can see all sides of your pizza shop. If I am wrong, no problem. Then there are still lots of good reviews to back you up. But I suggest even if they back you up, take each review in a positive way. Maybe next time don't show a paste of some chilli/tomato sauce next to the pizza. Maybe do not show the pizza as an orange colour as to give the illusion that there is tandoori. Maybe change the display picture for next time, so that others don't get confused if it is an issue of confusion. Anyways, this is my view and I have a right to it, since I paid for it and wasn't satisfied. Update: 21/07/21 at 7pm Don't worry about me, I am a lost customer. But for you I have some advice so you don't lose any other customers: 1. the Bombay chicken picture and/or description needs an update such as not showing the paste next to it, paste dripping out of the pizza and the orange colour of the pizza 2. Listen to your customers: when I said can I take a picture, don't be so quick to reject it. 3. If delivery time exceeds due to error of service (e.g. pepsi event), then give some discount (e.g. delivery fee wave)

It was my first time coming to this shop. The seating area is very limited but most people buy the pizzas for takeaway or delivery anyway. Every pizza I tried was delightful and here are my favourites: - The holy trinity (coffee rubbed beef brisket, pulled lamb and pulled pork on a napolitana pizza base drizzled with smokey bbq sauce & topped with potato chips) I love how they put generous amount of succulent meat on the pizza. Highy recommend. - Flat mack (it’s their famous burger pizza). Reminded me of big mac but way better! I really adore the burger sauce. - Fully tabouli (falafel, onions & fresh tomatoes on a hummus base, topped with fresh parsley & drizzled in tarator sauce). Yum!

Even in the age of COVID-19, I can pick up a delicious pizza. I ordered through the app (a painless process), and was mighty impressed with my first ever order, 'The Carlingford', no less (with chorizo added). The toppings were flavoursome and the anchovies - just about right, and not overpowering the pizza. Don't miss out on the gelato on offer in the freezer - I couldn't resist and after eating a few scoops was glad I made this spontaneous purchase - this was honestly as amazing as the pizza itself (fact: they source this from a wholesaler called 'Bravo Gelato', and I can't believe I now have this amazing icecream in my fridge). Will be back to try more pizza toppings (and icecream)!

$1000 Pizza.... the pizza was great, driving over the terrifying road spikes not so much. What idiot felt it appropriate to place road spikes on an access road to Carlingford Pizza when customers using iPhone Satnav and the Carlingford Pizza sign says.... parking at rear. Members of the public from North Rocks, Carlingford, Beecroft and Cheltenham are directed to use this road because you can't turn right off Pennant Hills Road. Miss the sign about the spikes and you will need to replace all 4 tyres like we did. Did we intentionally drive up a one way... no! Were we trying to avoid a parking fee?... no! Did we intentionally drive over road spikes knowing we would puncture our tyres.... no! We were collecting a pizza that had more than hour wait time for delivery. How many customers have missed the sign and destroyed their tyres.... according to the tyre place we went to... a whole lot. You can only enter the car park from the South off Pennant Hills Road.... interestingly there are no roadspikes on the entry from Pennant Hills Road because they know most people want to continue on Pennant Hills road so ignore the one way entry (saw 3 people do just that whilst changing the tyres) and that would be lost coffee run business. Why would anyone risk punishing a customer whether that be for Carlingford Pizza, Vinnies, Food from Mars, or for that matter the Massage place upstairs (although unlikely anyone would admit being there). Hairbrained, irrational irresponsible .... What next if the spikes don't work... landmines..! DON'T COLLECT YOUR PIZZA from Carlingford Gourmet Pizza.... you've been warned. EDIT: I don't need your sympathy. Resolve it with your landlord. The...

After a long week (18/3/16) and wanting get home and to relax without cooking, we thought we'd try Carlingford Gourmet pizza again after a 5 year break when it didn't quite live up to expectations. I saw that it won some awards so I was thinking that maybe they changed owners or improved their game. They didn't. I can't see how they have such a high rating and who would think their pizza is any good. A simple margarita pizza was absolutely dripping in globs of burnt, greasy cheese and the crust was uneven and gooey. The supreme pizza was no better and had similar uneven crust and globs of cheese and there were entire slices of ham laid on the bottom as if they couldn't be bothered chopping it up. We didn't even end up eating it and made something else. My wife and I were absolutely furious. Sorry but you know the saying; fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. We definitely will not be recommending you to anyone. We gave you a chance but we won't be calling on you EVER again. Why is it so hard to get decent pizza in the...
