I really like the staff, they're so friendly and always remember my order (I always order a iced matcha frappe - $8.50 without icecream or vanilla syrup, so it's just matcha powder, milk and ice). I thought it was nice that they would adjust my order to my preferences but most of the time it just looks like slightly green milk without any matcha flavour to it. It's really disappointing because you would expect for $8.50 that they give you a very reasonable portion of matcha. While I've never complained about it, the 2nd or 3rd time I went I asked if I could get extra matcha and they said it would cost an extra 50c. I'm already taking out a lot of ingredients and paying quite a large amount so thinking about paying $9 for a simple drink seems quite unreasonable. I continue to go back because I don't drink coffee and I'm trying also to reduce my sugar intake, and the only other option in most cafes is a cup of hot tea. So while I appreciate that this cafe offers this option, I still wish they would make this drink a bit more up to standard on matcha...

If you only use flavour instead of real fruit than please use a better one. This rather tasted like overly sweet strawberry cheesecake made in a factory. Worst milkshake I had in a long time.
The café itself was beautiful though and the personnel was nice.
My food rating goes from one to three stars because the "Smashed Avocado" was really good, just lacking a bit of salt. But the amount of avocado was generous and the cheese was delicious. There was some kind of herb-oil on it which...
Read moreMy experienmce with these guys hasn't been as positive as others, my wife and I had breakfast here over the weekend and we were over charged. when I went back there to show them the proof of purchase and the statement that we were over charged, I simply asked for a free coffee in return, the Barista asked me to show her the over charge statement again where I had already shown it to another staff member and she rudely threw $2.00 over the counter and said this is your refund, we won't offer you with a free Coffee. I will not be buying any tea, coffee or breakfast from Charlottes again. You need to go back to customer service course 101 and re-do this course as well as a customer...
