So I had a bad experience not once but twice at Chatkaaz Sweets and Namkeen Harris Park shop.
First instance- some days back I bought 10 gulab jamuns which they packed in two different boxes for take away. These were in the freezer in the shop, and we purchased them, instantly put them in our Car (which was air conditioned ) and came home and put it in the refrigerator. Later that day, we took it out and ate, and to our surprise they were stale and tasted sour- not one but five of us ate different pieces and all had the same feeling that it was stale and kept for too long before being sold. We had to dispose off the box second box of gulab jamun completely to trash- what a bad experience it has been. My point to the people responsible for selling it is- can you please maintain a hygiene score before selling things in the counter ? Someone’s hard earned money is being put to trash because you sold stale and expired things. We went back and gave our feedback to the counter person, and they said, sir due to changing weather, these get expired soon . Are you kidding me sir? Like we have never had or bought gulab jamuns our whole life ? Please have some accountability.
2nd Instance - we went and bought Kaju katli and the way the person packed it for us was like as if we had to be given away to the cattle to eat. Pictures attached after she tried to correct it and still was a disaster. My point is, don’t you guys think that you have an additional responsibility towards customer service than just getting the money for the commodity ? Very unprofessional and I had a real bad experience.
I would say, there is lot of room for improvement sir, your services are really...
Read moreToday i went there with my friend to try rasmalai and it was good but the customer service was so bad. We just bought 1 rasmalai obviously because we were gonna try it for 1st time and we can’t get 5/6 rasmalai. Then when i ordered 1 rasmalai and the co-worker asked me if it was takeaway or having here and i said takeaway and then she straight went to pack the order and started talking with her another member in their own language and im not against them for talking in their own language but they were talking about us and making fun of us and laughing the whole time which pissed me off and also i know the language they were talking in and i was able to understand it. This is not good at all we are your customers and instead of making fun of others you guys should appreciate us. Even when my sister called her and asked about it she didn’t even say that she didn’t made fun of us or anything which made it even more clear that they were talking about us. We asked her name but i don’t wanna mention it because i don’t know if she gave her real name and I guess you guys need to...
Read moreI recently had a rather disheartening experience at this shop. Today, I visited the shop and unfortunately found that my trust was misplaced. The two Indian girls at the counter left me feeling quite upset.
While making my purchase, I noticed that one of the girls took some sweets out of the box before handing it to me. This was a concerning breach of trust, as the integrity of the purchase should be maintained at all times.
To add to the disappointment, upon inspecting the sweets, I found that some were not in their usual size. It's disheartening to encounter such practices, especially when indulging in a treat.
My advice to fellow customers would be to thoroughly check your box before leaving the shop. It's unfortunate to encounter such behavior, and it's crucial for customers to be vigilant. I hope the management addresses these concerns to maintain the reputation of what should be a delightful sweet...
