Centenary Square — Attraction in Sydney

Hunter street 29 on west, Bank / General shopping including Medicines aling the north road, east with mini catering shops and south end leads the way to Parramattta Railway station. In between the four directions about 40 X 30 mt area is earmarked for visitors. Benches, watertaps, mobile shade , and dust bins are provided. Large number of visitors with families arrive and pass time with a panoramic view of pegi ons moving helter skelter. It has nice water fountains for summertime, as well as a number of restaurants and cafes surrounding.

The best thing about it is that games are put out, like tabel tennis and a big chess set.

Blocks and a giant connect 4 set are usually set out I front of the church, with some lawn chairs as well.

But Jesus Christ every person and their child chain smokes to the point that it contributes more to the smog than the gridlocked traffic.

Also the Friday markets are nice, I frequent the coconut coffee lady and the gluten free bakers.

Lovely walking through Centenary Square. Council has improved this place so much, providing locals with a large chess game, ping pong tables, large LEGO inspired puzzles and colourful chairs to relax under umbrellas. Friday is market day with amazing food stalls, honey and plants for sale. The coconut coffee wagon is recommended! Large water feature the kids can run through on warmer days, which is regularly maintained and cleaned. Right near Jamie’s Italian, Chemist Warehouse and Bourke Street Bakery....
