2nd review October 2022 So I've had to update my review as I tried a burger here a year after the 1st amazing one. The menu is a little different and now the burgers don't come with chips which is sad... you have to pay more to make it a meal deal. The price is therefor more expensive.
I tried the Vego burger which was quite nice and I liked the brown bun. Good size and definitely not dry. Nice crumbed mushroom.
I was however really looking forward to that beetroot relish...but it was just a slice of beetroot. My friend has been a number of times in the past year and also has just been given slices of beetroot instead of relish....sad.
Ate at the Windsor restaurant.
1st review from November 2021 I got "the vegetarian" on a milk bun and it was great!! Fresh salads and not dry at all. Lots of avocado and beetroot to make it juicy and tasty :)
Came with a huge amount of chips and friendly staff too.

Read moreMy partner and I are always on the hunt for awesome burgers. To us, the biggest thing separating a good burger from a bad one, is whether the patty is made from sausage mince or just meat - if the patty doesn't taste like sausage mince, then any features beyond that will determine whether the burger goes from good to great. We went out of our way to try a burger from Daddy's Burgers 'n Wings, and were sorely disappointed to find the burgers taste like sausage. When you're at a pub and get a burger like that, you can kind of forgive them, but a place claiming to specialise in burgers really has no excuse, especially with the high prices they charge. We couldn't finish the burgers, and of the large dish of wings we ordered, we could barely eat one each as they were so flavourless - grated, they were the "plain" wings, but you don't expect them to lack even any natural chicken flavour. Staff were friendly at the counter, and were lovely in greeting, serving and...
Read moreThese guys have a ton of fake one star reviews, which has pulled their rating down, but let me tell you this place is great! This place caters to coeliacs and people on gluten free diets - ALL the fried wings are gluten free! This of course means it’s going to taste different to someone who’s preparing themselves for their typical lathered with batter wings you get from KFC, so please be mindful. These are homemade and delicious. Doing all the wings this way helps avoid cross contamination, and is incredibly inclusive of the coeliac community. But anyone can dine here - both their gf and non gf foods are delicious. When visiting before lockdown, I had the loaded fries ‘Say Cheese’ with the GF bun and my friend had the ‘Cheeky Chick’. Food was delicious and hot, and came out quickly. Looking forward...
