The places has an overall pretty good vibe but the service was rubbish and I absolutely feel like it’s due to my appearance. The chubby older blonde lady wasn’t very welcoming. My farther and I sat in our dishes after we had finished and WE stacked them as we talked and no one had come and cleared our table. The… Asian looking guy also a very sour and dull face. They really didn’t seem like they were happy I was there. Asked for extra serving of mushrooms… this was apparently an extra serving so I would hate to see what a single serve looked like…. Very average food to be honest. head out west and for the price we paid for this little meal you will get a feast. Haven’t seen my dad for 12 years… grew up in the northern beaches… come back to take him out and this was the rubbish I came to. We didn’t even get a goodbye as we walked out.

Stopped by suburb Freshwater today for lite and coffee today. Our Place of choice was cafe - restaurant SeaSprout. Place was clean and staff friendly and helpful. A bottle of cold house water given soon as we sat down while looking over the menu. Didn’t have to wait long for our coffee’s or our lunch. It was delicious and nice hot and fresh. If your in the area and looking for nice place to eat and a great coffee for a reasonable price. I recommend the SeaSprout cafe- restaurant and definitely the southern fried chicken burger.

We had a very relaxed meal in a lovely setting completed with white table cloths…we each had an entree of garlic prawns and calamari … both delicious…then shared the cauliflower with hummus and pomegranate which had been recommended and we were not disappointed… a vegetarians dream dish! We shared a very nice sticky date pudding to finish off our meal and came away declaring… WE WILL BE BACK!

I've walked past several times on my way home from work. Every Wednesday is Paella night. The smells coming from SeaSprout were amazing. So we went to celebrate my sons 22nd birthday and it didn't disappoint. I am not a massive seafood lover but I really wanted to try the Paella. Jack (who cooked the food) said once you took the muscles and prawns out the paella was amazing without, and he was not wrong. I off loaded seafood onto other plates ( which where then devoured) and was was left was amazing tastes. The service was amazing and the rest of the nights was awesome. Lovely little spot - definitely should make it one night. Or even one day when it turns back to a cafe. I liked the little touch of tables clothes and napkins - made it a little more than just the every day...
