Embers Charcoal Kitchen — Restaurant in Sydney

We booked in early at 7pm, was greeted with a dirty table. Great start.. Had drinks for a hour at the table then went to order, only to be told long long food waits, no orange juice ran out and to be told nothing comes with the overpriced mains at all- salmon is just salmon comes with chips- nope can’t add vegetables. Similar story with rest of main meals. Seriously Tables were dirty, packed in like sardines, nothing pleasant about it at all. We ended up walking out and eating in the bistro. The meals were average at best. Both meals were served on a cold plate which quickly chilled the meals. Neither meal reflected the menu description. Octopus was over cooked and tough. Potato was cold, unseasoned and very bland. Caper dressing was non existant. The lamb was medium rare as ordered but cold and under seasoned. Absolute Rip off I ordered lamb rump and a rib eye steak and that’s literally what we got. no chips no veg no salad just a piece of steak and one measly potato and the thinest rib eye steak ever seen . And the lamb rump was served with some charred capsicum on a smear of something .
