This enzos is hands down the best one we have been to. The service was phenomenal and so was the food. We had several starters all were just as good as eachother. We also had one main which was also amazing.
Our first starter was the prawns brought out fresh and hot in a beautiful tomato sauce. The taste was incredible. The sauce itself was seasoned perfectly and went really well with the prawns. The prawns itself was clean, fresh and portioned well. No fishy smell or taste whatsoever.
We also got some veggies like the asparagus, green beans with almonds on top and carrots. The asparagus was cooked so perfect and was seasoned so well. We also had some green beans which had cooked almonds on top - something we have never tried before and we were in love. The almonds paired so well with the beans and was just perfect overall. The carrots were also cooked so well with the right amount of seasoning. They were nice and sweet with a bit of savoury on top.
We also had the bruschetta which was also amazing. The tomato’s were nice and firm and not squishy. The flavours were so nicely done. Bruschetta is such a simple dish however it’s not easy to nail the flavours like they did at enzos Ed square.
The Caesar salad was also good! The lettuce inside was washed well and was fresh. The chicken inside it was also cooked fresh and was the perfect addition to it in my opinion.
We ordered one main as we were so full from our starters and it was amazing. The steak was a great portion for the price and the mushroom sauce had an a flavour which I am assuming is from some sort of truffle oil (I’m not too sure) which made it very unique and different to many other mushroom sauces.
Apart from all the beautiful food we were mainly served by one gentleman who was so polite and made us feel very welcomed. Every time there was an empty plate he offered to take it so we had more space which was very courteous. Throughout our whole experience there he was very helpful. I can easily say he made this whole experience so much better and was the best waitress we have ever had.
Once again this enzos was an amazing experience overall. The food and service were both incredible. I can’t wait...
Read moreI’m rather disappointed with this review and sincerely hope that someone in senior management will step in to address these issues promptly. Enzos has been a cherished part of my family’s dining experience for the past 8 years. We’ve enjoyed meals at various locations and have consistently praised the food, service, and cleanliness. Unfortunately, the Ed Square location, which was initially a welcome addition, has seen a significant decline in quality over the past five months, leading to an increasingly disappointing dining experience. If you check my previous reviews, you’ll see I’m willing to give places a second chance, but I rarely offer a third. In the case of Enzos Ed Square, I’ve given it six chances, and each visit has fallen short of expectations. The kitchen struggles to get basic changes to orders right. I’m not talking about gluten free breadcrumbs on 11% of the pizza surface type of requests; I’m referring to something simple like no capsicum and add feta. The quality of the food has taken a major downturn; Calamari Fritti was a fave and always impressed with the perfect texture and flavour. Now it’s more comparable to a frozen 40 pack from Aldi thrown in the fryer for 2 minutes too long. The Burrata was a major disappointment, I recall cutting into the cheese and smiling as the gooey contents spread out over the plate to submerge the tomato salad; now it closely resembles a sad, dense clump of ricotta. Even the pasta, a hallmark of Enzos, lacks the depth of flavour it once had; you don’t have to look closely to see a lack of flavour in the accompanying pictures. While the manager has been commendable in trying to win us back, I can’t help but feel disheartened by the lack of improvement. I genuinely hope action is taken to restore this location to the standard that made Enzos such a reliable Favorite for my family and...
Read moreThis place advertised itself as having vegetarian and halal options and although it has some meats that are from halal suppliers, several times when ordering, the kitchen staff, servers and chef stated that all meats and vegetarian food is prepared on the same space and cooked together with other meats. So even vegetarian food is cooked on the same grill as meat because they don’t have a separate grill They don’t have a separate grill And again, they offered to pan fry the food because they don’t have a separate grill But the kitchen staff then stated that they can’t prepare any vegetarian or halal food separately because they don’t have a separate preparation area Then finally the manager came and said “I get paid the big bucks to tell you that everything is cooked separately” So by some miracle now they have a separate grill and food preparation area that the chef and kitchen staff knew nothing about After being forced to eat here because of the booking, they pettily bought me out less than half the food that was served to others who ordered the same dish Prices are very high and most diners in the restaurant were saying the food taste and quality didn’t match the high price. It was very noisy, people crowded together even though lots of empty tables and too many crying kids due to the poor food and unfriendly...
