Nice location, a good place to chill out. The Coffee though not amazing. The served dessert boring or even bad. I am sure they have much better deserts to serve. The best seats were occupied by "locals". Go early... We went back recently. I have probably forgotten how dissapointing it is. I placed order using the QR code. Food was very dissapointing again. We ordered an Angus beef dish that came with some samples of sweet potato slices. The taste was mediocre. The toastie was a simple sourdough with ham and tomato as ordered. Nothinh can go wrong with that besides the price. The quiche that I ordered was really tiny accompanied from few salad leaves. Blunt and boring taste. I acknowledge that one staff member was working really hard and tried to remain friendly and helpful on this busy day. Besides the location, it was a very dissapointing visit. Pretending to be a tasty French "bistro", it does not make either the menu more exciting or the experience trully fun. A never again visit.

A little slice of Paradise tucked away in Mosman!! Frenchy’s Café is one of those rare finds that feels both charmingly local and effortlessly chic. Nestled in the scenic heart of Mosman near the historic Headland Park, it offers the perfect blend of French flair and Sydney’s relaxed café culture. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by warm smiles, the smell of freshly baked pastries, and a calm, leafy setting that feels worlds away from the city buzz. The croissants are buttery perfection, the coffee is rich and smooth, and the menu is filled with simple, honest food done exceptionally well. Try the Croque Monsieur or the smoked salmon tartine—both are divine. Tables fill quickly on weekends (for good reason), so arriving early is a smart move. Whether you’re there for a long brunch, a quick espresso, or just to take in the view with a pastry in hand, Frenchy’s has that effortless charm that keeps you coming back. A must-visit cafe!!

I recently tried the Angus burger with roasted potatoes, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The burger was perfectly cooked—juicy, flavorful, and packed with that rich, beefy taste you only get from high-quality Angus beef. The patty had a great sear on the outside while staying tender inside, and it was topped with fresh lettuce, tomato and a sauce that brought everything together beautifully. The roasted potatoes on the side were a fantastic touch—small bit sized, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. They were a refreshing alternative to the usual fries and paired really well with the burger. This meal hit all the right notes for comfort food with a gourmet twist. Highly recommended if you're craving something hearty, satisfying, and made with care.

Was completely offended by obnoxious staff. My mother had an appointment and wanted to leave at 2pm. It was a little before 1.45pm when we order our desserts with my mother informing the staff before ordering that she needed to leave soon at 2pm. We were told it'd be quick as desserts dont take long. Anyway at 2pm we politely enquired and then again at 2.10pm.

Long story... the staff member became abusive and made derogatory remarks. I was completely stunned as were polite and the response was well shocking... the staff member grew increasingly abusive. "What she can't wait 10 minutes for her dessert??" This was the FIRST remark when I asked at 2pm if the desserts would be much longer... it went downhill from there. Terrible experience!

Please see my other reviews... you'll see I leave pretty much ONLY positive reviews... but for the abuse we received I'm making a special exception...

The business is busy so its two 10minute queues to order... and a LONG WAIT FOR FOOD.

As for the cafe itself it is trendy and buzzing with nice decor. Good location.

Seating is a bit cramped up which is part of the buzz.

Food is alright... the duck was dry as you can see from the photo... The baguette was actually very good.

More care went into how the coffee looked rather than the contents of the cup.

Desserts... waffle was terrible. Brownie was good. Creme brulee was truly terrible, noticeably oily. It was in a broad dish and a thin smear of about 1cm of the "custard".

Overall I'll never go back to this place just because of the rudness of the staff, hopefully it was not the owner.

Response to owner feedback: The staff was French and we are also French Australiand. There was no misunderstanding or communication issues. I subsequently read the reviews and there appears to be consistent issues with rude staff which is a risk to anyone who wishes to enjoy their day. The cinnamon waffle was terribly dry and cardboard like and swimming in syrup. No amount of whitewashing can change what we experienced. A month later time hasnt been long enough to even reduce the amount of offense...

Lovely spot but food is extremely overpriced for what is, essentially, not much different from any Cafe in the area.

No effort goes into presentation at all and things like just throwing slices of half cooked, soggy sweet potato on the plate next to such an pricey meal is poor form. It was inedible. The burgers, sandwiches and coffee were fine without being special (coffee was pretty decent if I'm being honest) but all fine, especially given such a nice location.

So, since the food tasted fine and the location was nice (beautiful really), why a 2 star review and not 3 or 4?

Firstly, service.

I ordered food and drinks, paid and sat down. Our food arrived but no drinks.

We ate, asked about our drinks and waited... Nothing.

Here's a tip; when you do table service, people expect their drinks to be served as well as food.

If you take food to the table, your staff at the counter should tell customers that they need to get their own drinks from the refrigerator.

Secondly and the most off-putting was that we had random dogs without leashes jumping onto our table to eat from our plates! Disgusting!

Two of our meals were ruined by dogs eating from our plates.

Honestly, the dogs owners were did nothing, the staff did nothing and so 2 meals and $80 down the drain.

I'm not talking about an isolated incident. Dogs roam around and just constantly harass you, trying to get to your plate while you're trying to eat.

Very annoying and sanitary at all.

The desserts looked very tempting (and look to be the best thing about this place) but we'll never know since the experience turned us off trying anymore food (or feeding it to the seemingly stray dogs).

For the record, I love dogs but I expect to be able to eat meal somewhere without random dogs eating it...

This is a PS to my earlier review below. After another visit in which we hoped for better, but actually received poor service and even more inadequate servings, I decided to give direct feedback. 2 polite emails were ignored, so I tried calling and got the customer unfriendly answer phone. Tried 3 times over several days, none returned! What a way to treat people who have been loyal customers since the cafe's first week of opening.😣

Great location and atmosphere, but getting pricey. We had both of the quiches @ $18 each, which comprised, not a generous slice, but a small square of mostly pastry and inadequate filling, w an accompanying equally inadequate salad. Average Sav blanc @ $15 per glass is fine dining price, OTT for a casual cafe. My coffee wasn't hot enough, so I asked for it to be heated up - not replaced. The waiter took it away, then returned it unheated and said I'd already drunk some. I was less than happy and made it known! Eventually a new hot, excellent coffee...
