Gloria Jean's Revesby Abbey — Restaurant in Sydney

This was a very disappointing visit to this store. I was part of a birthday party for a thirteen year old. There were about 7 teens and 3 adults. There was no where near that shopfront that was non smoking. Just outside of the doors people were smoking, and on the side under the shelter too as well as the open area that was not enclosed. It was very disappointing, especially as there was a no smoking sign outside of the shop AND stuck near the cashier.

I contacted Gloria Jeans via facebook, and was only advised that they told the store operators. Not really good enough, to be honest. It is not an unknown law, they know it - they should ensure the comfort of all their guests which includes children, teens and all non-smokers. Oh for goodness sake, please stop hiring little children that don't know what they're doing and bring back the old professionals. Today my first vanilla iced chiller didn't taste that great then I asked them to make another one, so they did and mind you, I wasn't really happy about it either. the second one tasted awful, like it was burned milk that have been expired in the fridge for decades and didn't taste like vanilla flavor at all. Also gave me a massive tummy ache in which I had trouble going to the toilet. Luckily I got my full refund back in cash but please keep in mind for the customers, not to go to them anymore. The drinks are great, food is slightly overpriced for what you get however there is nowhere to sit. The inside is extremely disorganised and you're basically sitting on top of each other.

They have a large outdoor seating area (half covered/half uncovered) however they encourage for smoking in both of those areas which makes it unusable for families, and non-smokers.

Several times I have sat down with my child to be told to relocate due to smokers.

So if you do smoke than this is the place to be as they cater towards you, but if you have a young child or do not wish to breathe in smoke while enjoying your Orea chiller do not go...
