This is a low cost outlet to get basic Chinese food.

Best to do take away as the ambience in the restaurant leaves much to be desired: Tables are sticky to the touch and likely not cleaned regularly. Staff have chinwags with each other constantly and very loudly [almost as if in an arguement - can't tell for sure as it is in Cantonese] Food prep is not all done in the kitchen; often one of the staff brings out some veggies into the main areas, takes a table and begins to do food prep there. Not sure if that's allowed or hygenic given how sticky the tables are. While doing the food prep, if a customer walks in or out then they will go to serve them leaving the food unattended at the table. This can include collecting payment and handling money, there doesn't appear to be any hand washing before returning to the table and resuming food prep. Service is poor and the wait staff give you the impression that your presence is an inconvenience to them and they just want you to quickly eat and then leave. Pricing for their set lunch is good at just $10, but watch out for the add ons. If you eat in they will add a $1 and if it is a public holiday they will add another $2. That's ok so long as it is clearly published on their menu. But it is not, the menu only shows the $10 price. Wish they would be upfront about all the extra's they will charge you with. We had a recent incident with them where we went in on a public holiday and asked about the set lunch. They handed us the set lunch menu and mentioned that their EFTPOS machine isn't working so we would have to pay cash. Nothing was mentioned about the $2 surcharge of public holiday. When the bill came they had added this in and we asked why this wasn't mentioned to us up front. Then the staff instead of apologizing for what was a simple oversight [which would have needed the incident] instead went on a rant about how he can't mentioned it as it would be insulting'. This is highly unlikely but so as not to make a scene, we paid the extra and left.

It was almost lunchtime around 11:15am last Wednesday 15/03/2023. The Restaurant was to open at 11:30am to serve for lunch and the Staff was inside eating there food, perhaps having a break before they were to open. I tried to get the attention of the Lady staff and soon as I pushed the door open and haven't even entered but trying to ask about the lunch menu and to my disappointment, I found the Lady staff to be rather rude and just waving her arms trying to tell me they were closed and not open yet. I then found out from another colleague that regularly orders lunch from there that he had experienced the same sort of service and adding that he wasn't the only one that was treated like that. Overall wasn't happy but when I picked up my order, I said a few words to the lady and was greeted along with a smile and suggested to her to often wear that smile that it would go a long way for the on going business with more positive feedback from word of mouth as I considered to try. The next day I dropped in to say thank you for the lunch which I was happy and mentioned about the lady's attentive to customer service was poor and appalling that she needs to be more nice in future and to my surprise the Man replied that she was very grumpy and was always like the way she was to me. No more to say and I was done after...

Lady that working during the day is so rude.

I come here all the time and the guy has the best customer service, but this lady is always looking for an argument.

Firstly when I walk in she doesn't get up from making spring rolls until she knows that I'm ready to order and then tells me at 2pm I cannot dine in for 1 meal because they close at 2:15 I said it says 2:30 online and she said yes but it takes time to washup, I said 15 minuets to washup a plate and fork and she said fine 2:20.

She then didn't bring my food till 2:15 so how am I meant to finish in 5 mins.

The satay chicken which is my favourite was the most awful flavour I have ever had today.

She was also making spring rolls in the dining room with no gloves on which is really gross

Again I always come here as the guy who works during the day is amazing but this lady needs some basic customer service skills.
