First time being here since they've changed their name (not sure if this also means a change of management) and arrived with my dad and my 2 yo.

When we arrived we were the only ones at the counter and ordered to go. My son and I went to the fenced playground as we waited and my dad sat outside to wait for the food. I watched as other customers soon came by and ordered after us (small things like coffee and toast) and all their food came out fine and relatively quickly.

25 mins later I asked my dad if he had the food yet and he said no, so I went in to check. The manager (I think) told me it was 2 more minutes & gently apologised. But that 2 mins turned into another 15 mins. I went back inside and waited by the door, the manager came by again apologising to say that they were down one chef. Soon after she came out with our order.

Our food was cold ofc and it DID feel like they had forgotten my order. One of our orders (HIVE Brekky Plate) was missing the chorizo and tomato's....so needless to say I was quite disappointed with my experience today overall. Considering the wait time (and it was EMPTY when we arrived), orders after us being filled first, and the missing elements to our order I wouldnt be in a rush to return if I'm...

The local trade used to be our favourite cafe in Sydney but returning there today was a terrible mistake. The menu has changed, and so has the service! Not only are some of the items no longer available but the quality of the food has diminished so far that we won't be returning. The burgers were raw and dripping with oil, the mushrooms were too salty to eat, the rest of the breakfast plate was bland and lacked any trace of flavour, and the chips were as hard as rocks. The atmosphere as set by the staff was highly negative and we really had to push to get any kind of attention. It used to be difficult to get a seat with long lines, though they moved quickly. Today there was lots of spare tables and they appeared over staffed and more focused on chatting to one another than serving patrons. Their menu is no longer inclusive as it is trying very hard to be fancy but doesn't hit the mark and comes across without flavour - we really hope they revert to their old ways which had us travelling hours just for...

Worst customer service experience ever!!. We were here on a Sunday (17Nov at 11.30am). They seemed to be picking and choosing who they served well. Every time I requested something, it would take me not once, but 3 or 4 times to ask for the same thing. Always with a different staff as well. . Whoever is the owner/manager of this cafe, either train their staff well or maybe it's time to do something about it. Your cafe is going downhill. No wonder why you don't allow reviews on Facebook. I bet your google "good reviews" were fake. I have been here a few times since it opened and it's getting worse this past couple of years. First , I waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order, the main waitress taking my order always had excuses, there was missing orders (no bacon where I requested to add bacon) , gave me 2 coffees, and I only ordered one, gave me wrong orders not once, but 3 times it happened ! NOt to mention no apologies when I tell them, just excuses. Wow just wow. Never again will I waste...

latte 1sug ($3.90): busy time in the morning but the it was still a very short wait for my coffee, perfect temperature, nice and warm and not too hot. the texture of the milk was great, it was very silky and smooth. very sweet and well balanced mix of coffee and milk and the strength of the coffee was not too overpowering. the sugar was well mixed into the coffee and didn't get stuck at the bottom which also gave it a slightly sweet taste to it. loyalty card: yes coffee beans: toby's estate ☕️ 10/10 • the cafe: located in a suburban shopping village on busy main road, prominent location on the outside of the centre. free centre parking right outside the cafe with disabled and parents parking also. fairly small inside but still has plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. there is also a children's playground next to it which makes it very family friendly. great team of employees, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. this has been my local go-to cafe for many years. ⭐️ 9/10 from instagram @thegroundedreview

A few months ago i came to the local trade and ordered a pulled pork burger. it was fantastic. so so tasty and one of my favourite meals from their menu. today i visited again for lunch but noticed it wasn't on the menu as they change it seasonally.. and at first i was disappointed but it pushed me to try something new. so i ordered the chicken salad and when it arrived i was stunned. it looked impeccable, and tasted like magic. the fresh salad complimented by the grilled chicken was exceptionally well-prepared. the sweet grilled corn perfectly contrasted the juicy cherry tomatoes, creating explosions on my taste buds. overall a hearty combination of in season fruits and greens. it was a large serving for a light meal but i recommend a side of their tasty sweet potato fries. they are too delicious. 10/10.

The Local Trade brings great cafe fare to Kellyville and north western Sydney. Juices in generous beakers, burgers on boards with crispy fries. Green pea falafels transport you to the Mediterranean and are light and fluffy. Coffee is by Toby Estate and is robust, creamy and complex. For the kids there their own menu and a huge plus is the playground attached to the cafe which enables parents to sit, eat and still keep an eye on their kids. Great service, relaxed and casual and conveniently located in the Kellyville Village shopping plaza.
