Goodwood is new on the scene in Marrickville, baking up a range of breads, pastries and sweet treats. Shelves behind the counter are lined with their breads; sourdough, rye, baguettes, miche and more.

Their trolleys showcase the pastries; plain croissants, pain au chocolat, scamorza, ham and mustard as well as the specials for the week. Be sure to check out IG to see what they have.

The vanilla slice has everyone talking, with the creamy filling and super crisp pastry layers. This is absolutely perfect.

I’m a huge fan of cinnamon scrolls, donuts and also lemon Myrtle so when I heard Goodwood had a lemon Myrtle morning bun, I was super excited. Last week, the lady in front bought the last one, so I got up early to come today. Thankfully they had one, and it is hands down my favourite treat I’ve had in a very long time!

Had the pleasure of dealing personally with Alex and Jamie and also supplying our family with the best bread in Sydney. For starters, absolutely amazing people who are genuine and truely love what they do. Not many people realise what goes on in the background in providing amazing product to the people. We work all over sydney and have had tried every major bakery from the blue mountains to syd cbd and can confidently say their bread is the most delicious, pure and simply ‘bread’. Something you ironically do not get today as others use un-needed chemicals and emulsifiers. These guys use the simple staple base of flour, water, salt and experimental ingredients such as cherry, nuts, garlic, seeds etc- who knew cherry and nuts would work soo well? They did! Goodwood Bake Shop is a gem of a bakery! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with an array of delightful aromas that made my mouth water instantly. The selection of baked goods was impressive, and each treat I tried was a burst of flavor in every bite.
