I'd like to give 5 stars but the service was shockingly bad there was only 1 other party ( group of customers) of 6 people when my friend and I entered we ended up seating ourselves, then had to go get our own menus and then had to go look for someone to take our order that would be fine if it wasn't table service but it is so someone should have greeted us, took us to a table for 2, gave us menus water etc.. and then came back to take our order but none of that happened. The food however was fantastic, serving size and price great, I can't complain about the food other than the fact that our mains came out before our entrée but that goes back to bad service and this was when they weren't busy so I can only imagine what the service is like when it is busy. I'll definetly order take away but not too sure I would eat in again. I would also like to point out if you or one of your party is a wheelchair user this place has a wheelchair accessible entrance the space Between tables isn't fantastic but if you stick to one of the tables closer to the entrance then your fine. I would definetly call ahead and ask for a table to be reserved near to the door and let them know someone will be in a wheelchair. The food is definitely worth 5 stars. Service is more like a 1& 1/2 🌟 Maybe it...

As a last minute, spur of the moment thing, we decided to do a large group dining outing (More than 70 pax) for some of the young people at our church. Phoebe and the family owners were absolutely fantastic - with just a few hours notice they put together a special set menu, made space for our group, borrowing tables and chairs from nearby restaurants to make it happen, and decked out their entire restaurant to make the night such a cosy and special gathering; then worked tirelessly bringing meals out, serving drinks, smiling the whole way through the night! Feedback from our group (including children) was fantastic, with the favourites being the spring rolls, wantons, the pho, pork chop broken rice, crispy chicken with the tomato rice and vermicelli salad. We all left full and satisfied and look forward to returning again at some point in the future … with a little more prior warning of course! Thank you for being such great hosts and for making our last minute dinner...

Pro: pho broth is thick in flavour, medium salty and sweet. Well balanced. Basil and sprouts are served on the side. Beef is served in the bowl, but freshly dunked so it is still cooking. Big servings. Friendly family business.

Cons: Sign in book with only one pen, a sign saying please sanitize , but no sanitizer next to it. Tea arrived after food! Slow service, hard to get attention. Had to get up and look for condiments myself. Eftpos machine broken but not told until after eating that we would need to find cash (still taking more customers but not putting up a sign?) Spicy soup not spicy, tasted of dishwater, looked nothing like picture.

Verdict: The pho broth was nice, if a little oily, I would go back for the pho but I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. If they can improve service (put condiments and hot tea on table as soon as customer water) I would add...

I gave the place a 3 stars overall. I arrived today after 12pm and they just opened. There were no condiment on the table, you have to ask for everything and the elderly waiter had very little knowledge of english but polite with a big smile. I had the bun bo hue because that is one of their best selling dishes. It was ok. I guess I have eaten better, a place at 299 Chapel St Bankstown Pho Song Huong ( the old Gia Hoi, they changed their name because people steal their brand), famous for their Bun bo hue and their portion with heaps of meat . That is my benchmark so I will always compared any Bun Bo Hue to that place, world wide. I did not find their serving large, very average serve with very few pieces of meat. The taste was ok, missing a few spices, but couls taste the shrimp paste, I probably won't try the same dish again but will have another go for their Pho.

First time at Huong Giang, I arrived to have Pho duc biet with my spouse, it was her first time trying this dish. Service was provided with a smile, which was nice. The food was okay, 45 minutes after ordering it arrived, accompanied with basil, lemon and sprouts. We ordered 15 minutes after arriving. Although the broth taste was less than average during dinner service compared to other venues, the beef protein combination was lovely. Unfortunately the service received could have been better, this was my first Vietnamese restaurant experience where the hot tea was not offered at all, to our table only, even after requesting it specifically. Also we had to also request spoons as there were none available upon arrival at 19:30, it was received after the food arrived at after 20:30.

The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly uncle host. The food was flavorful and authentic, catering well to both locals and foreigners to have a taste. In my opinion the portions were satisfying, leaving me full and happy (I also ask for lots of side vegetables without charges). The space was very clean in general and well-maintained, though it’s more casual and doesn’t have a fancy vibe, so maybe not ideal for a special date night but definitely a good place for a hot warm meals after work. However, if you’re looking for a good meal, this is the place. I’ll definitely be returning for more! I do recommend to try the soup menu (pho, bun bo hue,...)!
