As a long-time Marrickville local, I’ve walked past BBQ Prince countless times but never stepped in—until today, when a craving for Chinese BBQ finally drew me in. Overall, it hit the spot! The BBQ crispy pork was the standout for me—the crackling was perfectly crisp, and the flavor was spot on. It definitely satisfied my craving.
That said, I found the BBQ pork a little tough, and the meat was slightly colder than I’d prefer. Still, the meal was enjoyable, and the complimentary tea was a great touch, helping to cleanse the palate after the rich, flavorful dishes.
If you’re after some solid Chinese BBQ in Marrickville, BBQ Prince is worth a visit, especially for their crispy pork. I’ll definitely be back...

But really, this is another Marrickville institution. A family run Cantonese BBQ spot specialising in all the classics.
Dripping, glossy char sui, BBQ duck, pork knuckles, crispy Canto style pork belly, select offal cuts.
My go to order is the 1/2 duck half crispy pork on egg noodle with extra braising sauce and extra ginger scallion oil. Equally fire on rice.
