Best Banh Mi in Sydney at Marrickville Pork Roll ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Marrickville Pork Roll truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best places for banh mi in Sydney. If you're a fan of this classic Vietnamese sandwich, this spot is a must-visit. The highlight of Marrickville Pork Roll is undoubtedly their pork roll. Each sandwich is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and packed with flavorful, well-seasoned pork. The combination of crispy baguette, savory pork, pickled vegetables, and fresh herbs creates a harmonious and delicious taste that’s hard to beat. The balance of flavors and textures in their banh mi is exceptional, making it a standout in the Sydney food scene. The atmosphere is simple and no-frills, which is typical for a place that focuses on delivering great food rather than ambiance. The service is generally quick and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. While the focus here is clearly on the quality of the banh mi, the popularity of Marrickville Pork Roll can sometimes mean a bit of a wait, especially during peak hours. However, the deliciousness of their sandwiches makes it well worth the wait. In summary, Marrickville Pork Roll deserves high praise for serving some of the best banh mi in Sydney. With its outstanding pork roll and solid service, it’s a must-try for anyone craving an authentic and delicious Vietnamese sandwich. A must visit hidden place near Circular Quay! If you're in the mood for a quick take out gastronomic experience, look no further than this small shop that specialise in Pork Roll. Nestled in a quiet corner, this hidden gem promises a taste sensation that will leave you craving for more. At lunch hour the circular quay shop does have a line that look quite intimidating, however this shop know how to operate fast so do not be worry the long line move fast. When you step inside, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of sizzling pork, wafting from the tiny open kitchen. The friendly and passionate staff will show you the selection on the menu, simple but everything you would want from a Banh Mi shop. For us the star of the show - the Krispy Pork Roll at $11.00 What sets this shop apart is their attention to detail and commitment to quality. High standards of freshness and taste. Perfect balance of crispy skin and tender, juicy meat. The accompanying condiments and sauces are thoughtfully chosen to complement the pork, enhancing its natural flavour without overpowering them. This small shop is a true hidden treasure for Krispy Pork Roll enthusiasts. With its mouthwatering offerings, attention to detail, and friendly service, it promises an unforgettable culinary experience. There is no doubt, Marrickville pork roll is the best banh mi in the inner-west. I’ve driven past many times and always seen a long queue, but today I wanted to try it and see what the hype was all about. Driving all the way from leppington to try the signature crackling pork banh mi. After trying Marrickville pork roll shop at circular, I was a bit disappointed in two things: size (small) and price (expensive $10+). At Marrickville, the original store you’ll find the exact same rolls larger, cheaper and tastier. The cracking pork roll costs $10 and other rolls under $10. There’s option to have chilli and without. I tried both and I highly recommend with 🌶️. There’s also generous amount of ingredients especially pork in the roll unlike the city store. Service sadly moves very slow as they are taking one order at a time (hence the long queue), but once your order is placed it takes no longer than 2 minutes to receive your food. Overall it’s a satisfying experience and very happy with the quality of the banh mi.

The famous Marrickville Pork roll, went for the very first time today and here is my opinion……This is food that is superior in its class it makes every other pork roll I’ve ever had seem sad.

  1. the roll was crunchy
  2. the meat was juicy and tasty
  3. the crackling was bursting with flavour
  4. the veggies were crisp and fresh
  5. the roll was jam packed with ingredients but the ratio of meat to veggies was spot on. I paid $12 for a pork belly roll and a can of drink, I was tempted to go back and buy 3 more and keep them in my kitchen to eat for my next 3 meals but I was full and thought I’d just go back and get fresh ones later. It’s cheaper then a maccas meal, it’s fresh and healthy and it feels gourmet. Rarely does any food leave an impression on me like this did. The owners business model is very smart, keep it simple, small premises, less staff needed, keep it cheap, full quality ingredients constant line ups, keep turning over customers. This is such an ethical honest business, hard working people serving fresh quality food at affordable prices. They deserve every success they get. I’m...
