Greenhouse on Flora - Sutherland — Restaurant in Sydney

First time here. To borrow a phrase, the joint is certainly rocking. People happily chatting. Modern rock playing in the background. Plenty of staff looking after everyone's needs. I ordered the avo toast and my wife the 3 cheese toastie. Place is full almost to the brim. Just managed to get one photo of an empty table to give you the sense of the decor.

So I am waiting and thinking that they are taking a bit of time. Hmmmm. Then the food arrives.

My wife and I split the meal. I had half of hers and vice versa. The 3 cheese toasting with the salami was superb. A feisty flavour. The avo toast was the perfect follow up with subtler intriguing flavours.

It was my partner and I’s first time come to Greenhouse on Flora for brekky. Coffees came out quick and food was great. Reason i’m writing this review was because of the customer service. Emma looked after us and i can’t express how perfect her service was. She was super happy and approachable and really brought a sense of warmth to the cafe. She also went above and beyond when i asked if they had a sharper knife for our sourdough toast. ‘No’ wasn’t an option for Emma, she went out back, found the biggest knife she could (and i mean BIG) and brought it back as it was all they had and, technically a lot sharper. This type of customer service is rare, it’s not common that staff will do whatever it takes to fulfil a request. Genuinely, made our mornings!...

A delicious breakfast and wonderful flat white at this lovely and attractive cafe. Anyone who lives in Sutherland knows how crazy packed the cafes can get on a Saturday, but it was early enough (before 9am) that the place wasn’t too busy and I easily got a table. Wait staff were so quick and pleasant. I ordered the Parmesan scrambled eggs. Very generous portion! A tad too sweet for my taste but it didn’t stop me from enjoying it, and I ate basically all of it except the toast. The lovely and skilled barista makes THE BEST ginger latté.
