The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre Sutherland — Attraction in Sydney

Located at 30 Eton Street, Sutherland, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 I have been to this theatre a couple of times now, the first to see the Carousel Musical 🎶 and today to see “Cruising with the Grandparents”. It’s a beautifully designed theatre and very accessible for people in wheelchairs and walkers with a ramp at the front and a lift 🛗 to the side of the building. There’s lifts to the upper levels also. The ushers and other staff were very helpful and professional on both occasions. On the ground floor is where you can buy drinks and something to eat with tables and chairs and other seating available. It’s a wonderful location for live entertainment and other productions. There’s a great variety of shows always on offer. Wonderful venue for the shire. Would definitely recommend....

It's wonderful having a venue like this in the Shire. Can't complain about the variety and quality of shows, and the bonus of lots of nearby parking. But I do have a niggle about the bar prices. We went to see Georgy Girl last Sunday (which was fantastic) and a glass of champagne was $16 to which they added a "Sunday 10% surcharge". Then last night (Friday) we went to the John Newcombe play and a glass of champagne was $10. What's with that? Not only do they jack up the prices on Sunday, they add a surcharge....

An amazing state of the art theatre that I believe is bringing much needed culture and sophistication to the area - with great shows and such an amazing atmosphere. The outside area is great for kids - including space where they can use scooters and a grass area to play - and with a fabulous mist installation! This facility was desperately needed in the Shire and has given the area a different look and feel. Fabulous investment by the Local...
