Gymea Grill by Mike — Restaurant in Sydney

Came to Gymea Mikes tonight instead of the usual Ramsgate location and left pretty disappointed.

I’ve had the creamy garlic prawns a number of times before and have always had a great experience, but tonight was honestly awful. The prawns were tiny and barely there, and looked like they had just come out of a frozen packet. There was hardly any creamy garlic sauce which is normally the best part. The whole dish was bland and had no flavour at all. The rice was overcooked and watery, like it had been sitting around too long.

Doesn’t even deserve one star! Worst place, worst customer service! kitchen forgot a meal, then after ordering again got the wrong, served something different plus that wasn’t even declared on the menu, after asking the kitchen staff regarding ingredients just been treated rude and without any consideration of people’s allergies nor have been taken seriously, no alternative or refund have been offered, no apologies! actually just been left standing there and completely ignored while staff turned away and has served customers behind in line. Had the calamari with salad/chips. Delicious! My son had the cheeseburger from the kids menu and said it’s SO yum. Wifey had the prawns and finished them all.
