Located at Shop 1, 24 Gymea Bay Road, Gymea, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 Have been here a few times now, both by myself and as part of a group. Today I was part of a group of people with disabilities. We sat at the back of the cafe under the pergola. It was ideal for us. Only it was quite hot 🥵, could use some air circulation like fans. The staff are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I had a chocolate milkshake and the bacon and egg roll. Soooo delicious 😋. The cake selection and sandwich selection is great also. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this wonderful place. It seems to be very popular with the locals which is always a good sign. I always look forward to coming back when I come to Gymea and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. A Thumbs Up from me!! 👍👍

Me and my partner both ordered the smashed avocado toast with tomato labne and feta on sourdough toast and this came out. It wasn't so much smashed avocado as a flavourless slimy avocado paste like a guacamole which never met seasoning covered in the slightest sprinkle of fetta with no labne to be seen. The bread wasn't sourdough. The whole thing wasn't really seasoned except it was drizzled in this really gross sickly balsamic vinegar glaze. This is one of the simplest cafe standards. I can't understand how you could've gotten it so wrong.

Chapman has the best Acai bowl in Gymea, hands down! They also have great coffee and lovely service. Highchairs available and outdoor seating for when the sun is out. They even have an extra outdoor seating area round the back. Update: On reflection I think their pricing is consistent with the local competition so I've taken out that part. We did get some inconsistent latte art on this visit but the coffee itself still tasted good

We walked in to ask about coffee and brekky and the older blonde lady abruptly said she would be with us when she was ready. We went up to the counter to order after about 10 mins and then were told to take a seat as someone would come over to take our order. It took quite some time for someone to come over to clean the dirty plates and wipe the table from the previous diners. After waiting 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order as we were advised, we went to the counter to then be told that the kitchen was closed for 30 minutes, we were shocked by this as were the other tables. We wasted 30 minutes in this cafe only to be told kitchen was closed, at 11am on a weekend, it would have been nice if the staff had enough decency to tell us. Customer service here is dismal. We won't be coming back. The staff here do not know the meaning of...

Went to have a nice breakfast, waited 40mins weren’t busy hardly anyone there. One person got there meal after 30 mins of waiting for the other two to get there’s 10mins after the meals were eggs your way and didn’t even come with the eggs, when we then got the eggs there was only one egg thrown on to each of the plates and given back to us. We weren’t the only ones complaining about the food and wait everyone was complaining and poor people were waiting 30 mins for takeaway while the owner continued to stuff around on his phone out the front of the shop. Very...
