Harry's Coffee & Kitchen — Restaurant in Sydney

Let me start by saying the staff assisting us was so lovely and helpful. The chef on the other hand was horrendous at his job. We order three meals with receipt time stapled at 12:03. After 20 -30 mins the first two meals arrived. My friend was still waiting for her salmon fillet. After 40 mins I went to check with them. They said oh let me check with the chef. They offered my friend a free drink for the long wait. Again nothing wrong with service, girl was so lovely. Then I literally saw the chef place the salmon fillet on the grill to cook it? They told me 2 mins longer which I didn’t believe but sure enough, the salmon came after 2 minutes. My friend started to eat it and realised the inside was completely raw as in sashimi raw. Seems chef really only cooked it for 2 mins. We showed them and the girl asked if we wanted it recooked or refunded. We said refunded and just left. We also didn’t eat the pasta we ordered as it was so oily. The cafe was not even busy, lots of coffee orders but not meal orders so the girls taking orders and making coffee would have been busy but chef literally had a few meals to make and after 45 mins he still couldn’t cook a salmon. Just a bad experience because of him. He didn’t even bother to apologise. I wish I took a photo of the salmon! So , go there for coffee but...

This cafe provided me the worst cafe experience I have EVER had in my life. I was in a group of four, and every single item we ordered was wrong. Firstly, we waited 30 minutes for our drinks. One of them was forgotten and we had to ask for it. One of them came out with full-cream milk instead of almond (I am lactose intolerant). We ordered three Mediterranean breakfasts with hashbrowns added. One of them showed up with a hashbrown - the other two were nowhere to be seen. We asked for one without olives... they all came with olives. The fourth meal was the avocado toast. After 55 minutes of waiting, we asked when it would be coming out. They promptly brought out ANOTHER Mediterranean breakfast instead of the avocado toast. Finally, after over an hour, we had the correct meals. Not once did the staff apologise, in fact every time we told them the order was wrong they argued with us. When I brought up the fact I could have got sick from the dairy in the drink, the waitress said "well did you ASK for almond milk?" Yes I did ask for almond milk. We paid an exorbitant amount for breakfast, and all we got was rude staff, slow service, wrong meals and terrible quality food. I will never go back here and urge everyone to stay away...

Whilst waiting for my mum to purchase her coffee, my friend and I were sitting at a small table eating McDonald’s which we had previously purchased. Suddenly this lady approached us and proceeded to yell and cause a scene about us not being able to sit there and eat food from another establishment and forced us out of our seats. All the customers turned to stare which was extremely embarrassing. As we walked away she continued to complain about us even though we apologised and left. We walked over to my Mum and she did not want to cause another scene so she took her coffee to go. The workers did nothing to diffuse the scene and maintain a safe environment. The coffee...
