Tucked away on a lovely street, this Korean restaurant is a true treasure run by a sweet elderly couple. Despite their mobility challenges, they serve up genuine and delicious Korean food that's worth trying. I highly recommend you pay them a visit, enjoy their food, and support their incredible dedication. Every dish is prepared with love and care, making the dining experience unforgettable. Not only will you enjoy delicious food, but you'll also be part of something special. By dining here, you help the elderly couple continue doing what they love. So, if you're a food lover seeking genuine Korean flavors or simply want to support a heartwarming endeavor, this restaurant is a must-visit. Don't miss out on this opportunity to savor their incredible food and be part of their inspiring journey. Make a reservation now and taste the love they put into every dish.

At a personal level I loved the quaint old charm of this place but as other reviews explain it's run by an elderly couple who do struggle with pace and mobility. Do not expect quick service. Do however expect home style Korean dishes patiently made for you. The homemade kimchi was a highlight for me and we both enjoyed the potato pancake. The japchae uses different noodles to most other Korean places we have tried, they are not as soft and sticky. The bibimbap looked great, taste was fine when eaten with the kimchi. Quite a rustic style with raw beef and egg. The rice was sort of rough, not sure what to make of that. Bargain soft drinks, and many dishes are well priced too, particular the lunch menu.

The restaurant is fine, it has a lot of Korean decoration that it fits the atmosphere. The business is run by an elderly couple. Food was delicious and isn't that expensive even though some are instant. Both elders understand English and was able to serve food quickly. However, it was impolite of their son to not help the elders in doing the business, their son only helps at certain time and decided to take care of his childrens. Leaving elders alone especially at night, it could lead to horrible tragedy. I suggest to give different working schedule to both the elders and their son. Although the elders was able keep the business going, they need to encourage their son to help more.

I admit, services and atmosphere is not a five star so I do not recommend to people looking for atmosphere and services since its run by old korean grandma and granddad (it was so sad that they are still working at their age,,,, I hope they retire and live off pension) however, it is hard to believe that there a still a restaurant who would serve a meal (lunch special) for $10 in the heart of CBD of North Sydney. I had bibimbab for lunch and it is as authentic as you would get from your mother in law's house. It came with kimchi as side dish,, you can hear the crunchiness in your ears,,, mass produced kimchi is quite mushie and soft,,, you only hear crunchy sound from home made kimchi. This place won't last long so I'll continue to visit this place as my go to lunch restaurant ( I'll upload...

It was like walking into my grandparents kitchen. The old couple that works there are lovely and you can tell they know what they’re doing as every dish we had was made authentically and deliciously, which is miraculous considering there is only one cook(the old man) and one server( the old lady) and they both work tirelessly to make sure the food is served with hospitality. If you are looking for truly authentic, practically homemade Korean food I would definitely make this an emergency stop. The prices are so cheap and the portions are very generous. Please come support this cute family establishment, and when you do treat the couple with care, as in take your plates when they are handed to you at the counter, and leave your dishes at the front so that the lady does not have to...
