My wife and I walked here for breakfast. We have eaten breakfast here several times on weekdays and the service is consistently efficient and friendly. My wife ordered the Corn and zucchini fritters ($21) with smashed avocado, tomato salsa and a poached egg. She enjoyed the flavour of her meal. I chose the Brekkie Burger ($15) consisting of 2 fried eggs, double bacon, melted cheese, a hash brown and Aioli sauce on a milk bun. I usually need to deconstruct burgers, and in this case, I ate the hash brown first, so I could eat the burger with my hands. I really enjoyed it. We washed our meal down with 2 pots of Soy, Prana Sticky Chai Latte ($12), that were well spiced and tasty drinks. It is one of our favourite breakfast cafes in North Sydney. Breakfast here is highly recommended.

Went here for breakfast. Nice area to be able to sit outside. An oversight though seems to be the height of the built in bench seats, as it's too high to be able to comfortably sit and eat at a table. My wife ended up moving to a regular chair instead... Coffee was fine. I was disappointed though with my choice of the Omelette as it wasn't fluffy at all and was very thin, likely mostly due to amount of ingredients as there was a lot of mushroom, spinach and tomato, which I'm sure would please many people, just too much for my liking and not enough actual omelette, so silly it for me. My wife had the Corn and Zucchini Fritters and very much enjoyed them. Overall was ok but won't be rushing back.

They have the best shakshuka in Sydney ! The iced coffee is great. The service is friendly. To be fair, we are overly happy with the meals there. However, we knew for sure that the tiger prawns in their linguini are imported after tasting it…despite the owner reassured us that they were QID prawns before we ordered the dish. In fact, we are very familiar with QLD tiger prawns which has completely different texture and flavour from the usual imported prawns that are abundant in Australia. So it’d be better if they are honest with that …

Im visited today and receive really bad service from one waiter who didnt seem to care. I ordered 2 coffees and 2 croissants...one croissant was wrong sort but decided not to say anything. We waited in courtyard...only one other couple..eventually coffees appear, they are taken to couple at adjacent table...they decline saying wrong coffee...i indicate to waiter maybe they are mine...looks at me dismissively and says ill get to you in a minute...30seconds later he is back with the coffees...no sorry etc just placed on table ...no spoons, no sugar, no little complimentary cookies which I had asked for ...I mention this assuming they will appear forthwith ...soon after two toasted croissants appear...good timing with coffees which is very important if you are to enjoy them together. Again taken to wrong table .. I signal...again dismissive look then "thought bulb"...maybe they belong to THE ONLY OTHER COUPLE IN THE COURTYARD...they are delivered...At this stage I suggest maybe he should check which table he is delivering to to avoid confusion...again I mention the spoons sugar n cookies...after a minute or so nothing received so I go inside cafe to find him serving other people...i gain his attention and ask where are suger etc...He then says I will deal with you later "I have many other customers to serve"...I look around coffee shop, 4 to 5 customers max. At this stage Ive had enough and demand the items... My reason for this scathing review on the serviceis to hopefully stop this happening again...it has happened before...it ruins an otherwise nice experience. The cafe is generally OK...great location and ambience...good coffee and food...good prices...the owner is great and open to constructive feedback. This is a relatively easy thing to fix...please do so otherwise there are plenty of other...

We are from Melbourne and happened to be in Sydney for a night. We were taken by surprise that the streets of Sydney were quite empty even at 7:30 on a Saturday night, what is seemingly the time when the streets are alive in Melbourne. This place happened to still be open out of the few places that remained, and the smell from the street was quite enticing.

The staff gladly served us dinner, and what we thought was going to be a last minute dinner ended up being quite an intimate dining experience. The service was very good and we felt looked after sitting in the outdoor dining area. The portions were generous and the flavours were nice. If I find myself in Sydney again, I wouldn't hesitate...
