Very disappointed at the lack of organisation of Joe’s staff on that particular day. I had emailed earlier in the week to advise the day I was coming into store collect my smoker. Upon arrival they sent me to the shop next door to pick up the smoker. The lady in the shop I was collecting the smoker from was amazing and she did everything she could to help me. The smokers were stack out the back floor to ceiling and neither her or I were able to access one. This lady called the staff at Joe’s to try and get someone to help her lift and get a smoker out for me (there were about 5-6 men working from what I could see when I was in there) they basically said sort it out yourself!! So disrespectful when this should have been arranged prior as they were aware of the day I was collecting. Perhaps customer service, organisational and being a decent person training should be arranged...

I spent time exploring barbecues with a gentleman named Michael today and I really enjoyed the "old world" good old fashioned customer service. The business has a wide range of barbecues for the poor man , the rich man .... and the man with just way too much money! It was a great experience to see so many options in one place but the best part of the experience was Michael's willingness to listen, to talk, to explain.... it was like being back in the 1970s when businesses offered real, gentleman to gentleman, face to face customer service. It didn't matter whether I asked a difficult question or a stupid question, I was treated with respect and I felt like a valued customer.
